Any DLC is essential for me, I'm a rabid Mortal Kombat fanboy. I hope that this is true, even though it's a tremendous longshot.

I'd LOVE those MK3 klassic cyborg costumes. Maybe they might sneak in Cyber-Smoke :O Or some new klassic news.

It will probably be something stupid that we don't even really want. Just like the "exclusive 360 content" that ended up being avatars in KOTH. (-_-);

Yeah, that exclusive definitely made me proud to be a 360-owner, lol. It was a true game-changer.

I'll take anything they're willing to give me honestly. I don't know why everyone has this sense of entitlement. Yes I understand you paid $60 (or $90 or $150) for the game or whatever, but NRS could have released the game and then said "**** it" when it came to support/fixes/DLC. I've seen other companies do this. Or if they're not doing this, they have their priorities mixed up (Bethesda worried more about DLC than fixing their completely unplayable POS Fallout: New Vegas, for an example).

Basically, I'm excited for any MK9 related releases now, and I probably will be every time they announce something.

I understand where you're coming from, I'm very glad NRS is looking to support this game. I don't feel I'm acting entitled though, NRS gave us their word. That should carry more weight than it has thus far. I didn't expect anything free coming into this game, until I was told I'd be given it. Not looking to stir up that recently cooled debate lol, but I find there to be a distinction in this instance.

Well Ed Boon said that they will not charge for anything that's already on the disc. I'll just add that to the list of his lies.

Thank you. He even stated in his other thread that his favorites MUST be male
He's only interested in Rain. I think she is a pretty cool character thus far. I mean, she was made after a game glitch

LOL i welcome all characters with the exception of fujin/boraicho/kai/mavado and tons of other crappy characters lol
i do want skarlet, cant wait the moves using blood :D
also would like to see frost, she would kick ass, lets not forget how some of the current characters where not that great in previous mk games and how much different they are now, no more color swaps here.

also...RAIN FTW!!!!!! YEAH!!!!

You guys only remember his lies and forget that he kept his words other times. For example, I asked him about the online play when PSN returned and PS Store didn't, and he said that he would take care of it. And although many of us can't redeem our online passes yet, we can play online nonetheless. So stop being so pessimist people.

You would call me sexist in what is related to MK (what im not ill explain it in the other paragraph), but thats not my point, i dont like Skarlet because like i said a million times i only like elemental characters with just a few exceptions like baraka or kenshi.

What i would like that i said before skarlet was even hinted, is a character that uses blood as power, yh i know skarlet is blood based but her movelist doesnt show blood moves, perhaps im wrong and i hope i am, cause a blood elemental would be so cool, yes i prefer male characters but in that situation i'd take a look at her, but if she is kitana with red hair and daggers instead of fans, no way....
And yeah my mains must be male, im pretty sure most (i said MOST not ALL) of the girls use only girls or perhaps 1 or 2 males nothing more, i dont see whats wrong there, call me sexist but is more a matter of comfort than discrimination (im not sexist in real life, nothing further than that). I only like male chars but i make an exception with Kitana i do like her.

Anyway last time i checked, i lived in a free country so...

I'm sorry, as a 360 owner, I truly feel that I have every right to be a pessimist. Listen folks, Ed Boon (God bless'em) is a freaking narcissist ! If you don't think he gets off on us harping over secrets, fatalities, new content, etc in his MK games, then I want some of what you've been smokin ;-)

I am one of those non-whiny-but-still-feel-screwed-360 owners who to this day is still pizzzed at Microsoft/NRS for not getting a demo ! For the most part I'm over it and i love this game and think it's probably the best MK game ever ! I really wasn't feeling the 2 D approach in 2011, but it was done beautifully and reminds me alot of UMK3, my favorite MK.

But I will never forgive Boon for not at least addressing the disparity of Xbox 360's lack of a demo when it was clearly stated that we would get one ? I mean was it ever developed ? Were we lied to from the beginning ?

I think Scarlet will be DLC by herself as I think all the characters will be to keep us teased and anticipated, which again helps Boon feed his narcissism and his wallet.

To be fair, it was never said we would get one before release. It's not unheard of for demos to come out months after the game they're for is released. I mean, didn't the Halo Reach demo just come out, while the game came out last fall? Same with Kinectimals (fall release and demo months later).

After all, a demo is for those undecided to help make up their mind if they want to buy a game. Not so much for those who already know they're going to get it.
