Did you expect Skarlet to be blonde with a pink outfit? And she was named Skarlet because that's what the fans called when she was only a programming glitch in MK2, not because of the color of the blood.

Why? So I'm supposed to be a sheep and adore it because Boon put it out? I mentioned MKD because that's where it started to get out of control...It's not about SZ as much as it is in general.

No, I didn't expect Skarlet to be in a pink outfit. I know about the glitch, it's the overdone blood theme that pisses me off here.

I'm not some troll, I have rarely voiced negative opinion towards MK but they are continually forcefeeding everything to us. (Hey guys, I gave Scorpion a mask...that's a scorpion...cool, right? ....Hey, check this out..I just put Johnny on his chest...)

CMON. I fully expect to get negged, but enough is enough.

I cannot disagree more with you, i think that details are the best.

Sub-Zero ice breath, Scorpion's scorpion mask and scorpions in his guantelet, Johnny's tatoos, Smoke's gray hair and Skarlet's red hair are great details that shows what they are. I really enjoy them. What would you prefer? Sub-Zero being a red skinned guy with a yellow bikini that throws ice? i know its an exaggerated example lol but anyway it wouldnt make sense.

I'd just like to see them fix the game that we have instead of diverting attention to DLC to make more money. DLC is great, but let's get a working online mode, better balanced fighters, and tidy up some of those embarrassing graphic glitches like super stretchy cloaks and anti-gravity hair-dos. Oh ya, and how about NOT cancelling uppercuts that are done simultaneously. I'm looking forward to Skarlet, but won't buy a single DLC until some patches arrive to fix the game we've got.

LOL, that is taking it way out of what I'm saying.

His name is Sub-Zero. He is a blue ninja. I immediately know he does something involving cold. SZ in MK9 bothers me the LEAST of all my little nitpicks, which admittedly will likely fall on many deaf ears (Don't think I hate MK9, it's my GOTY so far). Johnny's tattoo did piss me off, but I learned to love it. I just wish they'd be a bit more subtle, that's all. We don't need blood-themed moves. What's next? A drunken sensei who vomits during battle?

MK is my bread and butter, but less is more. They wanted a dark game...Which to me means realistic fighting, UNTIL "Finish Him" where we get treated to the ultimate demise. Everyone has a projectile, damn near everyone has a teleport...It's just like..Really?

Ugh, I still don't like her voice...

...aside from that, looks like they took out the left side prisoner at Kahn's arena if you pick Skarlet... was hoping they would replace it with Li Mei or Tanya...

Yeah, I've got no love for the unmasked look he had in MK3, but for some reason I dig his DA costumes. He actually ages, but still looks scary as s--t. He's a man who could kick your ass when he was younger but now he's figured out another thousand ways to beat you down and he'll gladly use them. Dunno why, but I just like it...

On-Topic: I think she should have a MK2 style alt (along with all 3 of the lady ninjas) seeing that was where her presence was rumored.

As for the other mentions: I think the male ninjas should have MK3 style alts much like the lady ninjas have.

Every character's gotta have some form of projectile. If one character didn't, that character would become completely ignored.... like Stryker was in MK3.
That and every character has to have some way of closing distance with their enemy, so they put in a teleport or some form of slide/roll (Of which Kung Lao has both D:<). That and this is Mortal Kombat. What did you expect?
And I lol'd at the drunken sensei part.

Word. Wise analysis.

MK without all characters with projectiles and shortcut moves for close encounters = NO MK.

Well, her fatalities :

1) She puts one of her ninja-to in the temple of oponent, with the other, she cut the oponent's throat off, and, the blood spills in her face, and she enjoys it, sadistically, hehe

2) The other, she stabs herself, turns herself into a blood pool, this blood pool moves beneath the enemy and the rest, well, we have yet to see, but, I have 2 guesses :

a) Maybe the blood absorbs the enemy into it, imagine Noob Saibot 2nd fatality, but, this time, the enemy is entirely absorved by Skarlet's blood pool

b) The blood drenches the enemy as a blood fountain, this blood enters inside the opponent, and the opponents explodes next, revealing Skarlet coming out from inside of him, more or less as Shang Tsung fatality MK 2

I agree with this whole post and would like to note that she wasn't just rumored. There was a graphical error that caused Kitana to turn red. It happened to some people and so the legend of Skarlet is born.

Does the fact that everyone she is fighting (excluding Raiden) is wearing their klassic costumes signal anything about her release date?
