my fake here doesnt deserve a 10/10. it sucks. i tried some editing at first-hand, and it licked mold.
At least you admit your defeat. I can't respect that, because it took you so !@#$ long to realize you weren't good enough to be even in the top five worst artists ever to etch your name in the rancid, horse shit that the fake picture industry has become. Thank you people once again for your contributions to this cause. Your egotism and stupidity has called forth the imminent downfall of all that was once great.

K1LLKANO's obviously better than me. all of that Spine-rip he did was done without copy/paste. my fakes are worse than New Coke. No-matter how hard i try, I know i will live in a shadow of screwing up every fake i do. this was editing with cheap CAP work involving inverted colors. I apologize for showing every piece of crap i make. This fake may have taken more than a day, but its wastes more than a minute of you life just reading these posts.
Technically, everything done on a PC is copied and pasted, especially web-based graphics and anything not done outside of a predominantly 2D program. Although a lot of editing is done to 2D sprites from the older installments, they are not done from scratch and, as a result, cannot be wholly credited to the creator throwing a new look on the sprite. Unless it's done from scratch, it'll never wholly be your property. This is one of the many reasons why I've scrapped the remedial sprite editing thing and have resorted to doing my own work without many resources.
Improvement isn't hard to come by. I improve every time I touch something, and it's because I aspire to do so. People like you, those who shell out every single they've done just to receive a little positive feedback here and there (at this site, no matter how Godawful something it is, the predominant response runs along the lines of, "gj, 10/10"). Get it through that mass of muscle you could only hope to call a brain:
No one improves by receiving feedback consisting of only complimentary remarks when they obviously deserve nothing of the kind.

...worse than Keanu Reeve's acting skills.
Although it is purely a matter of opinion, Keanu Reeves is not a bad actor. The Matrix just sucked, and so did the directing. Everyone's acting sucked in that series.

Dude don't be such a wimp, giving up never helped anyone. You're a great guy and some stuff is good that you post you shared your ideas and of course we as people told you our opinions and maybe your not ment for fakes maybe you might be art, koncepts, or even lvls, which seem like my thing i do best, you have great potential you just have to be patient.
In all honesty, I doubt he even gave it the slightest consideration to throw in the towel. Most users I've seen around the community during my multi-year stint who've posted an admission of poor artistic aptitude and the decision to leave the work up to people who know what they're doing never actually had any intention of walking away. Those same people just go searching for some reassurance, which is always given, and come back to dish out more of the bullshit that they'd so selfishly thrown in our faces before their alleged walkout.
You people very rarely tell the truth. If you do, it's amid a bunch of lies regarding how great the artwork is when it's actually something worse than some of the first shit I ever did. That's not saying much, because I went through a ton of practice before posting any work, but when I did post my work I received praised among real, honest, and constructive criticism. The community, not just this site, has turned the fake picture industry into an insulting mockery of what it once was, prior to my two-year hiatus from the community.
In conclusion, I'd just like to point out that I am Goddamned sick of seeing praise given to shit that doesn't deserve it. Be !@#$ honest. Just because you suck doesn't mean you have to give the other people who suck less than you a ton of praise. You don't have to give them tips. Tell them what the !@#$ is wrong with the image and move on to improving on your own shit. If you know something you're doing sucks, don't !@#$ post it. People, MKRocket and I for the most part, grow very tired of repeating ourselves and time and again only to have our constructively based criticism turned into some kind of insult. If you're going to quit this !@#$ thing, any of you, don't tell us. Just do it. We won't give even a third of a shit when you leave--at least, not those of us with actual graphic-related talent.
Have a nice night.
