NEW* street fighter X tekken gameplay trailer

I love Tekken but not much of a fan of Street Fighter. I like the characters enough but I've never been able to get into the mechanics of the game and the controls just aren't natural to me. Still I've played almost every Tekken game so I'm interested in this and will definitely keep my eye on it (although I'm more excited for Tekken X SF due to the more realistic looking approach)
 
i like tekken...and love street fighters, aside from MK...SF is next on my list...

only prob with this game is, it looks exactly like SF with tekken fighters in it.

too bad mk dont have destructible environments...those are very enthralling
 
why do most MK fans hate on SF???
i think that this is too much info in one sitting on a game that has no plan for release date yet...
 
Finally, I have SS4 but this game will refine it that much more. It has tag-team but it won't be wild like MVC3. It is like the perfect mean between the bland one v one in SS4 and the button-mashing crazyness of MVC3. I can't wait to get it.
 
I Have to say im not a big fan of either one of those franchises but it looks very interesting I might try it out ps: I like what they did with the tag team gameplay reminds me of a certain bloody fighting game im playing next week (:

I started fighting games with Street Fighter II and then Mortal Kombat... Then later other fighting games. KOF and Virtua Fighter and Tekken!

While Mortal Kombat is the King of Fighting Games. The others all have there own things going...

Street Fighter X Tekken is gonna be good game that's for sure. But i bet that namco's Tekken x Street Fighter since the characters are in 3D it will rock all time seeing Street Fighter in that style.

I'll be getting them all in any case... Fighting Games are Great! Play them all.

I had my arms raised up in the air as a victory pose when I saw that King is in. :-) King is my all-time favorite character in Tekken. So I'm definitely gonna get this. I love both franchises equally, and I want to see the TekkenvsSF game now. Nice vid btw.
 
This will be my next big fighting game, but for now it's Mortal Kombat all the way!!!

P.S. I'm not too happy seeing Ono, ever since his past statements of Mortal Kombat and its fatalities.
 
Graphics and presentation look like barf. Guess they still have almost a year to work on it though. We'll see.

JUST MORE MK DLC AND EVENTUALLY MK10

If thats the only competion for Mortal Kombat 9 in a years time then tekken vs SF = lose!!

and guess what I really like SSF4 and I really like Tekken 5 DR and Soul Calibur 4 but that game just looks horrible
 
I think it looks good. I am just wondering how the Tekken universe is going to translate with the Street Fighter universe. They are two complete different fighters. Tekken relies on more ground based movements and moving in and out of the arena in 3D environments. Street Fighter is Ariel based on 2D movements. Street Fighter relies heavily on jump attacks and projectiles which, completley different then how Tekken plays. I am just worried both games are going to have change the fundamentals of each character to properly fit each universe. With, Tekken there going to have to tone down a lot of the moves and try as hard as they can to get most the signature attacks in the game. With Street Fighter there going to have to add a lot of moves to there set to make them feel combo friendly. I am just hoping we don't lose the essence of each fighter when they switch universes.
 
if i had to choose it would definitely be Street Fighter vs. Tekken.. but I'm on the edge with this game.. i want it.. but I'm quite bored with the same Street Fighter 4 look!.. and no difference really with the SF characters that i see.. but ill wait for later details and gameplay before i say more
