NEW MEMBER TO TRMK

Even though I've already had a few posts, I wanted to formally introduce myself to everyone involved in this site. I've been waxing nostalgic for the classic MKs ever since I recently bought Midway Arcade Treasures 2 and, more recently, MK Trilogy. This is an amazing site, with a lot of content and very knowledgable members. I consider myself very lucky and honored to have happened upon it.

I look forward to lots of good things with everyone here.

Most of us are pretty cool here, but there are a few who don't necessarily represent this community so don't let them bug you.

If you have any questions about anything, please use the search feature, but if you can't find what you are looking for, let us know!

Seriously, though, welcome. Just make sure not to ask stupid newbie questions and you'll be fine.
 
nice to meet you...so to say...be sure to look at the site when you get the chance just to stay updated (you probably already know that though) :)
 
Define "newbie questions". Just for my safety. It would probably be the extent of me asking how everybody did the fakes (which I already asked.)

Though I promise I wont be one of those stupid bastards that does nothing but post things like "StoopididiotSubZerosuxhesaFAGSCorpionroolswOOtwOOtyousuck!!!"
We all need that like people that write that need a straightened-out rusty coat hanger to the temple.

Yeah, that's sort of on the brink of such a question. Other stupid newbie questions include:

"I know I could easily find everything I'm looking for by searching the forum, but since I'm a lowly amoeba, where do you find [insert object] in Konquest mode?"

"Did Sub-Zero really have a brother?"

'OMG!!!!!111one, do you know what Noob Saibot spelled backwards is?"

"OMG!!!!!111one did you know that Reiko is Shao Kahn?"

And so on and so forth. Avoid these displays of total idiocy and you'll be fine. Also, be careful about posting a thread that already exists, newbies get eaten alive for this.
 
Well, can't say I DID know Reiko was Shao Khan, but then again, my experience w/MK4 is almost nil.

Reiko ISN'T Shao Kahn, but you don't know how many people asked that question on the last incarnation of this forum. It just refers to Reiko's ending in MK Gold where he walks through a portal and puts on Kahn's helmet (even though he isn't Kahn).
