New kharacters that were revealed in MK9

Let me start by saying this IS NOT a character wishlist, but a thread about new faces that were revealed in MK9 and their potential to return in the next game (So please dont tack this to a long wishlist). After beating mk9's story and seeing everybody's ladder ending, I saw a few people that could be more fleshed out in the next mk or maybe dlc in mk9. Here goes:

The Cyberneticist (From Kabal's ending)

This is the doctor who made Kano's eye (And possibly the lin kuei cyborgs?). In the ending, he turns kabal into a cyborg and his servant. He has story and a kombatant potential. He could use a mix of cybernetic implants for attacks. And as a fatality, he turns the human victim into a cyborg, and existing cyborgs into... MK1 arcade machines!

Darth Kabal (from his own ending)

The look is just pure badass. Finally, instead of ninjas turning into cyborgs, how bout somthin new? His attacks could be his classic moves but enchanced with his new cybernetic implants (maybe even Light-Saber Hook Swords XD).

Jade's Dream Lady (from jade's ending)

Very mysterious lady, is said to have seen everything for centuries, takes over jade's body to re-imagine shao khan's death. Rumored to be the One Being. Don't wanna see her possessing Jade, so i hope she is a separate character. Not much is known to comment on a fighting style.

Ultimate Johnny Cage (from his own ending)

Beyond mortal-imagining, this beefed up cage happend after beating shao kahn, his powers became out of control, so Raiden sent him to Seido in the realm of order to hone his new powers. If they do make this new Cage, I hope he doesnt lose his personality, which is him being a douche bag.

God-Mode Liu Kang (from his own ending)

Pissed off at raiden because of story mode, liu kang challenges raiden to see who would be the new protector of earthrealm. He wins, and thus is granted God mode. Truly awesome, could use some spiky hair, and he could be the opposite of raiden and be angry and corrupted. This or zombie liu kang.

Night-Were (from night wolf's ending)

After beating shao Khan, nightwolf loses his spirit wolf, so he goes and purifies himself. The spirit wolf returns to him, but is different. Turns out Shao Khan chains his soul to the spirit wolf to cheat death and is now a part of nightwolf. When ever nightwolf sees a full moon he tranforms to a werewolf controlled by shao khan, infecting one mortal at a time with a bite. LOL, Personally I dont think this should be a character (could be like saber wolf from killer instinct) but should instead be nightwolfs fatality (or the return of animality?)

Raiden Rangers (from raiden's ending)

GO GO RAIDEN RANGERS! To protect earthrealm after defeating shao khan, raiden needed help since most of his warriors have died. to accomplish this, he separated his powers between 4 individuals and scattered them in the direction of the four winds. I hope this is non-canon cause they would just be clone characters.

Cyber Khan-Zero (from cyber sub-zero's ending)

Due to his ending being mute, it is heavily implied that after cyber sub zero defeats shao khan, cyber sub zero is hacked by ghost khan, forming full metal khan. Very heavy, could be a boss using shao khans moves infused with some icy elements. though I doubt it.

King Jerrod/Ermac (from ermacs ending)

After he defeats shao khan,The control over ermac is broken, causing all the souls in ermac to fight over who would be dominant. Of all the souls, king Jerrod of edenia takes control. He goes to Edenia (as ermac) and reclaims the throne alongside a welcoming Sindel and Kitana. An Ending full of unicorns and rainbows. Personally I liked the way he talked in 3rd person, so hope ermac is the same but on the good side.

There was this chick in kahn's coliseum in Sub-Zero's chapter standing next to goro, it might be Li Mei, but it might not.
 
What about Cyber Khan-Zero?
I'd actually like to see Nightwolf brought back in some Werewolf form.
I'd also like to see Liu Kang as the new Boss character, although it's not likely as that role is clearly going to Shinnok.
 
In raidens ending, there were 4 new heroes that he chose to spread his power to, to protect earthrealm. Since a lot of good guys died in this game, its very possible we might see these warriors in the next one.
 
For Jade, though her body is dead, the "Mystery Lady" will probably take it over to correct what has been wrong (if the lady is good of course) or destroy everything (if she is evil) even if Jade is under control of Quan Chi. The "Lady" will most likely break that spell of Quan Chi and she will end up controlling Jade instead. Johnny Cage will probably be that powerful in the next game since his powers are progressing. Liu Kang will most likely get corrupt like that (especially knowing that he is angry at Raiden). "Darth" Kabal can also be made in the next game after his death because of Quan Chi's control. "Lycan" Nightwolf has a good chance to be in the next game, especially knowing that he is under Quan Chi's control after his death. Cyber Sub-Zero's character from his ending is a good possibility since Quan Chi is controlling him. I hope all these new characters are hints in the endings that they WILL be in the NEXT MK GAME!!!
 
i do hope ermac's ending is canon!! would be cool 2 actually have ermac sindel & kitana ruling edenia
 
With the exception of Kabal's new design, they're all very awful. With any luck, none of it will carry over to the next game. Otherwise, the game will be very silly.

There are plenty of characters post-Trilogy that can carry the next game. It definitely doesn't need any of the new crap.

The doctor is an interesting personality, but doesn't seem like kombatant material.
 
Dream Lady is interesting, she might be a good addition at least least story-wise.

Seeing that Liu Kang died, Im sure he wont return as a god but its possible they will return the undead Liu Kang (just a guess)

It would be interesting to see the Mystery Lady develop some more in the next game. There was a discussion on another board that perhaps she is an avatar of The One Being.

Looks more like Tanya than Li Mei. Reminds me of a dark-skinned Zafina from Tekken.
