New characters for the next game.

Instead of the "Dream Realm," I'd rather see Chaos and Orderrealm become more into this series. Granted that the "Dream Realm" is being mentioned more, still, it hasn't played a big role in the actual story, the realms I mentioned already are.

I'd like to see more involvement with people from there, especially since Havik seems to be one likable character from Chaosrealm.

Dreamrealm looked really cool though.

And since the Dreamrealm is real, I wonder if this makes Freddy Krueger canon as well lol.

It better not turn into the Emerald Dream from Warcraft where it's constantly being mentioned, you see it briefly here and there, there's important characters in the dream that are fighting against the evil in the dream, and not once do we get to interact with it whatsoever.

I'm getting that vibe that this is what the Dream Realm will be like. And holy shit does the whole "not intereacting with the Emerald Dream" issue pisses people off.

I was kidding dream realm seems dumb af. I agree tho with the chaosrealm and orderrealm. I like both Havik and hotaru

I figured as much you were joking about that.

But even if anyone WAS serious about that realm being featured, I still feel like nothing will happen with that Dream Realm.

Doesn't even sound Mortal Kombat-ish to me.

I personally would love to learn more about the Dream Realm. Especially after Tremor intro with Mileena

"You are reborn in the Dream Realm"

An assassin from AC or Charlie Charlie (do you think we really need another serial killer?)
Alucard
A KAFighter as advanced as soul calibur
an UNLOCKABLE charade/mokujin styled character

THERES ONLY ONE FREAKIN UNLOCKABLE CHARACTER IN THE GAME. HAS NRS PLAYED SMASH OR SOUL CALIBUR?

No, they just like monies.

Create a fighter should not come back to the series at all.

I know I'm going to get asked, here is my reason why I don't want it to return:

It was a poorly executed concept when they first did it. I really did not have fun with it and they did not feature anything remotely interesting. "Let's make another cyborg." "Let's make another "ninja'" I think the only gear that was slightly cool looking was that Elder god stuff. Other than that, I hardly used it. They didn't have a lot of new moves to offer either, and I didn't want to re-use another character's move to use with my created character.

You want the best create a character feature? Play the wrestling games.

I'm sure with more time they can make one that would be better than Armageddon's, I still think it would be a lame idea to have created characters into the mix.

I just don't think this series needs something like that. It's been successful without it, it won't make them more successful if they included it back in. To me, it's not an eye-catchy feature.

I'd rather have the damn Care Bears in MK than EVER see the return of Kreate-a-Kharacter in MK.

I'd like a chemist in the vein of Walter White from the Breaking Bad TV series, as well as a mad scientist type (who could also be the chemist).

As you stated above. Please good God in Heaven don't let NRS bring back "Create A Fighter" I don't want to see someone's abomination online let alone it taking up space in any MK game. I would soon rather see Chest Kombat return than that crap. Furthermore I would love if the Dream Realm becomes more prominent in the next MK game. Course that doesn't mean I don't want to see the Chaos Realm either

The only decent created character I ever saw in Armageddon was someone made Chun-Li. And they were wicked good with that character.

A blonde purple-clad female ninja with a cat o' nine tails adorned with knives and hooks as well as medical syringes filled with chemicals that inflict various conditions like poison and sleep. She is a biochemist from Earthrealm residing in Outworld while she conducts field research and performs scientific experiments.

A hooded black-clad female ninja with a deck of tarot cards and a crystal ball that constantly floats around her. She is an Edenian fortuneteller with innate psychic abilities and the grim future she sees in a recurring vision leads to her attending the tournament in an attempt to prevent the unthinkable from happening.

A voodoo priestess with an hourglass which allows her to manipulate time in small intervals and a caduceus which can transform into a serpent. She is the witch doctor of a small tribe in Chaosrealm and a renown healer able to bring the dead to life, although using her powers has cursed her mortal form.

A female puppeteer with an array of killer marionettes which she deploys in combat using a system of strings and spiderwebs. She conceals her true identity as an arachnid subspecies of Kytinn by wearing a creepy porcelain doll mask on her face and takes body parts from slain victims to use for making puppets.

A female Black Dragon member with bolas and a grappling hook gun as well as a supply of tracking bombs in her pin heels. She is of Russian descent and is madly in love with Kano, her psychotic devotion to him driving her to commit a series of heinous acts that ultimately lead to her joining the tournament.

A female alchemist with a cursed tome and glass flasks as well as a tattered cloak which enables temporary invisibility. She is from a rebel outpost in Orderrealm but ventures elsewhere to fulfill her quest of creating the philosopher's stone and keeps her scars from a prior experiment hidden with a plague doctor mask.

A siren with a bladed harp she uses to play magical songs with and feathered wings as well as the ability to transform into a flock of many birds at will. She hails from a forgotten island nation in Outworld, now mostly nothing but ruins, and joins the tournament in search of fresh victims to eat.

A mermaid with a double-sided trident she can detach into separate weapons as well as the ability to control marine life, summoning sea creatures to fight for her. She is from an underwater nation deep below the oceans of Outworld and seeks to avenge the recent murders of her sisters.

A bespectacled female computer expert with high-tech glasses she uses to read vitals and a battle mech she designed herself, controlling it remotely via an app, as well as combat malware she uses to upload viruses into organic targets. She is a spoiled British socialite lending her expertise to the Special Forces.

A pink-clad female cybernetic ninja with dual nail guns and pneumatic drills concealed in her fingernails, as well as the ability to manipulate gravity by deploying magnetic fields. She is a prototype model designed and abandoned at a secret laboratory in Outworld, only to be rebooted for the tournament.

My ideas:

1. An alien - by that I mean sci-fi extraterrestrial with advanced tech (like the Protheans from Mass Effect)

2. Western Fencer - just imagine using a rapier as part of the x-ray technique! (Downside being is that gameplay may make it feel like a Baraka clone)

3. A pure-blood Cryomancer - not a hybrid like Frost or Sub-Zero, but a member of the original race itself. Doesn't even have to look human; can make it like a White-walker from Game of Thrones.

4. GUEST APPEARANCE: Prophet from Crysis - You can fighting modes based on Maximum Strength (increased damage), Maximum Armour (reduced damage) and Maximum Speed (increased combo points)

5. New Ninja character to throw a spanner in the mix of the Shirai / Lin Kuei conflict...

Jubei Hasashi (Scorpion's son).
What if after being killed by Quan Chi, his soul was taken to the Netherrealm where he was raised and brainwashed by Shinnok? I'm thinking along the lines of Arkham Knight's secret identity.
