Just to be clear... I don't want MK vs DC because I want a more pure MK game. I can deal with 1 guest character.


But I don't think MK vs DC failed because it was simply MKvsDC. IMO it failed because the gameplay wasn't that fun lol.

It failed because of RAGEEEE

Klose Kombat, Free Fall and Test Your Might.
 
The guests I only want in the next MK are:

1. That blonde zombie-killing cheerleader who wields a chainsaw.

2. That red-headed damphir in the red leather outfit who slays vampires with her blades.

Ya'll know who I'm talking about. ;)

Pretty much this.

Rage was a shitty "you can't touch me" mode where other players become invincible for a short time.
Klose Kombat felt like shit.
Free-fall Kombat took no skill, as you just had to guess the right QTE (QuickTime Event) to win.
Lastly, that was probably the WORST version of Test Your Might that I have EVER seen.

Cake on top of that the pre-determined combos and bad game play, along with Superman, The Flash and Scorpion being the only 3 OP opponents that everyone used online, and you pretty much have the MKvsDC experience.
 
See alot of new characters. Female type ermac, scorpion similar ninja, kung lao unknown brother or sister, liu kang unknown sister, another robot ninja, boss big as shao kahn, cage looking guy, black female ninja, sub boss that's human and new ones can't think of.

I hope she's someone very cool and satisfying to play as.

I don't care if she's Nitara, Khameleon, Li Mei, Tanya, Delia, or someone completely new. I want her with cool moves and nasty fatalities just like Kung Lao's fatalities. I want her in MK10!!!

Also, I want a female dominatrix with a chainsaw and split guys vertically in half with that weapon. If there is no such character, NRS better have Kreate a Fighter even for one slot only and hopefully with an option to use a chainsaw. ;)

They shouldn't rush through anything.

Kreate-A-Fighter leads to Kreate-A-Fatality, and I hope that Kreate-A-Fatality NEVER comes back.
It felt lazy to have the same set of finishing moves to pick from, for everyone.

i dont get the love for ashra . i say reboot her as well. give me till tonight and ill give you an idea of what i would prefer to see her as
 
Can we leave the guest characters out for the upcoming one? We already had two games that featured other characters, we don't need a third one for a bit.

I would like to see a character that flies throughout the entire match, mostly with wings and not just hovering around like Sindel does. It shouldn't be THAT much of a challenge.

I would also like to see a... well... a bard/bardess. Have music to fight against. I know I'm begging Blizzard to give us a bard class for World of Warcraft, but I'd like to see a bard in something besides my character in Dungeons and Dragons. I mean... they're so flipping badass.

Not necessarily...

1. NRS can make the custom characters have default moves from original characters already (like in Soul Calibur 4 and 5).

2. NRS can make the custom characters have pieces of original fighting styles, special moves, and fatalities (from original characters). Like in some wrestling games and Dynasty Warriors 7 I believe.

@TAZZMISSION: I'm not much of a fan of Ashrah but if they can make her look really good and play out very well, I'll probably like her too.
 
I swear, every time someone has a new character idea on a forum it is just the worst. They are either the most uninspired or obnoxious characters. Guest characters are also a stupid waste of space. MK has already had its share of bad characters. NRS should take more influence from old school kung fu flicks. It worked for Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, and Raiden. So in theory, it should work again.
