New Character idea: The Sand Ninja

I don't think he has to originate from Egypt, I mean look at Subby he didn't originate from Siberia lol
 
True. Wells, give him a country that should use him and doesn't have a character in MK like Mexico or somewhere in Africa or the Middle East. If you don't wanna use Egypt, use Mexico as a country he is from or he can even come from another realm like Edenia or Outworld or even Chaosrealm. For example, I gave characters Kai and Jarek more personality because I made them Latinos since in my eyes both look Latino (Kai from Dominican Republic and Jarek from Colombia or Argentina). Something like that but you have a very good idea going on there but like I stated before, the only thing bugging me is the color you need to give him an orange to very tan color. Not brown because that would be Tremor's color.

looks pretty cool, somewhat reminds me of hotaru's alt in a way.

he would be the heaviest out of the ninja's if he looked like that.
 
I don't know what you mean by "heaviest out of the ninjas", it could be a light metal-like armor he is using (it could be made of some Mithril equivalent metal in the MK universe). But if you meant "the most armored", I would agree. Not that it would made him less awesome, BTW.

In the game where this concept art originated from, this guy was a generic sand warrior that could throw his swords (they were made of some kind of magical glass), vanish in the sands and make group formations with other sand warriors. Pretty interesting thing, if you ask me.

Really, I don't see why his gameplay would be slow just because of his appearance. NRS surely can make animations the speed they want with absolutely no relation with some character's look.

Ninja + Sand powers + Egypt = Epic Win

Also he could have some glass power, like a glass stalactite (spell?), since glass is sand with heat and pressure.
 
His fatality could be that he says "SAND BURIAL!" while he surrounds his opponent's entire body and then he goes "SAND COFFIN!" and closes his hand, crushing his opponen........wait.....
 
For a fatality, as silly as it might be, I would love to see this ninja turn into a giant sand worm and devour the opponent. It would be like Liu Kang's Dragon fatality, but better.

awesome, best idea I've seen posted here, I could see it kinda like Baraka's projectile. He quickly makes a flame with sand and it shoots out shards of glass
 
This is actually a good idea. i like it because there aren't any people in any universe that has power over sand except sandman from marvel i can't think of anyone like him. same thing with crystals the only person i know with power over crystal is diamondhead from Ben 10 we can use a ninja in MK Universe like him, but we have subzero for that right?

Dune would kinda work but there has to be a betta name for this sandguy
what if they reinvented jarek with sand powers that might work idk

if he comes out what would his color be cause it can't be brown. That would be tremor..

Tremor doesnt exist in cannon games and there is 99% of possibilities that he will never appear, so Tremor is out of the picture, this hypotethic sand ninja can be brown, but I was thinking more in being white and light-brown, since all the ninjas in the game are "black + X-color", this new ninja could be the first using "white + X-color"

I had actually to google this name to find out that you were referring to that weak ninja-like guy in MKA's Konquest Mode. And I see no one using him in the signature. o_O
