Even though Friendships don't end in "ality," IGN counted 5 finisher spaces, so I hope that Friendships DO come back.
I'm hoping that it's 2 fatalities, 1 stage fatality, 1 returning "ality" and 1 Friendship.

Given that MKX has more of that MKII feel to it, I don't see why not.
It's not like Friendships took away from MKII.

The Multality is possible in JRPGs, Action/Adventures, and even Beat 'em Ups. It is NOT possible in a fighting game.

I could see MUtality (as you mentioned) in MKX, though, as in mutilating your opponent.

I really hope its brutalities.
As I said before, if its just a painfully long series of x-ray moves and brutal maulings ending with the opponent dead or choking on blood, then I'd be happy.. in a dark way. It might even be more satisfying than a fatality, might.
