For beating, Kabal, Kobra, and Kira... look to where Kabal was... you will see a portal, which will take you back to the Netherealm portal... where a chest will be with 1,000 Onyx coins. The Blue key is for the hut where the kid lost the key (in the village).

Wrong 3 dudes the_sim ... I'm not sure what side mission he is talking about as I haven't done it yet, but he is talking about one where you win and receive a "MYSTERIOUS PACKAGE"

That is the Portal that appears behind where Kabal was standing... It's a big red one... you cannot miss it.

The only mysterious package I know of is the one you get from Lo in earthrealm. You have to give it to a woman in A-6 of Earthrealm.
