Multiple character skins

I'm thinking, will Midway make the characters with double skins? You remember, MKT had this for chars like Raiden, Kano and others...

For example, Liu Kang will be a zombie. If you ask me, I'd like to see a second "living" skin of him. Also, Sonya's green/gold costume...Shang Tsung's yellow/black costume from MK3...

What do you think?

That would be so cool if midway did make second skins ffor some of all of the charactors in the next game; like all the ninjas having their old outfits from older games.

i suppose so. i wouldnt mind seeing subzero in 3D with his UMK3 and MK2 outfits. that would pwn like white on rice.

Thier not skins. A Skin is just a texture difference, they have new models also.

I think the costumes question will be like MKD, but I wouldn't be surprised if Midway put 3 or 4 costumes for each character.

I know it would never happen...but I'm hoping for some of the MK:SM style costumes to make a return. That game has the best costume design of all the MKs every IMHO. Sub, Scorp, Smoke, Noob, and Ermac were EXCELLENT in MK:SM as was Kung Lao, Johny Cage, and Sonya. In fact, the only people I particularly disliked in MK:SM were Raiden and Jax. (The holster vest thing ruined Jax's look)

I liked the MKSM Costumes to. The one that I didnt Like is Raidens

If they make Scorpion/Sub-Zero look like MK:SM I may cry I hated them. I was glad about Liu's and Kung's but Reptiles, Scorpions, etc. XP'd IMHO.


Hopefully there will be at least 3 costumes per character.

Raiden's was an improvment on his orginal MK1 and MK2 outfits... It was kinda close to the MKotR cartoon though I felt. Least the blue colour used. And it didn't swamp him like his MKA and MK outfit do.

I liked raiden's MK1 costume. I hope they give him that one.
I hated most of the MKSM costumes, cept for sonya. that was the shiznizizit!!!

i was hoping they made all new costumes because i hated the MKDA costumes too. I kinda liked MKD but still i want to see fresh-ness. We're giving them until almost 2007 and they already have enough of the game done to make screenshots
