Motor Kombat as its own game?

Motor Kombat is amusing, simple, yet amusing. I dare say it's just a glorified Mario Kart. But MK style. You'll like it...most probably.
 
If it came out on the DS, I'd buy it. The DS is the perfect home for Kart games, Mario Kart DS was even better that Mario Kart 64, and with Single card Wi-Fi play, It'd be awesome. I'd basically put in (as well as the special moves available) a lot of weapon pickups, like shurikens, flamethrowers, homing missiles etc, stuff that could make for really over the top violence. But we need to change the controls to resemble Mario Kart a bit more.
I don't think it could hold it's own on a major console though, and hthe DS doesn't have an MK yet.
 
The motor kombat game is such a great game that absorbs you to the playstation 2 console and make you wanna go head, set hard mode and beat the computers or the online players! but if they make it a single game!
I dont think its such a great idea because there are games that was had #1, #2 or sometimes #3.
For example...Krash was the most selling game in the year of 2003 i think.
The game motorkombat will be sold a great number if they make it such a great game that has alot of mortal kombat related stuff.
1.More orbs that create a certain amount of damage can be a great addition to MK.
2.Different types of armor/as well as costumes, that can be bought from the shop is just a great addition.

I sent my post, that shows all the modes, characters, tracks, to ed boon. But no reply. Dont ask me how i got his email.... cos if i told you id have to kill you. MUHAHAHAHA
 
My personal opinion for Motor Kombat as it's own game: if they were to half-ass it like they did on MKA, then no. Motor Kombat was, in my opinion, the biggest waste of disc space on MKA ever, next to the blooper videos, concept art, staff photos, all of which I've never been fond of in the first place since MKDA. That's disc space that could have been better used to make a better MK game.

Anywho, that's not the point. I wouldn't mind seeing Motor Kombat as it's own game, but only if Boon and Co. won't f*ck it over like they did with it in MKA. =|
 
Hey now! Bloopers and extras videos are the meat of the Krypt! I agree with you about Motor Kombat, it's half assed (but fun) and I think the space and time would have been better spent on more real content (like KAK stuff!) But those extra things in the krypt make it just plain fun and give us a little insight into what could have been and how they made the game you know? I'm dissapointed there wasn't more of it this time.
 
Eh, I can see where you're coming from Glam. I'll admit I got good chuckles out of "Cooking With Scorpion" from MKDA and "MKM Bloopers" from MKD. However, at the same time, after a while, the extra content, in my opinion, is only good for a few reads or views before I wished there could have been more to the game. I guess it just depends on the player, I guess. =)
 
I found Motor Kombat to be amusing and hilarious, especially the part in the Outworld Refinery where a lot racers get a double dosage of fatalities from the flame pillar and the lava.

To 7th Number:
Glad you put the specials for each character, but what about the car design for the characters that did not appear in the side game. Plus, I want Kai and Ermac in the race too. Appreciate it!

You can also add the Meteor Storm Track and Slaughter Raceway (Slaughterhouse from MKD with the race track) on there.

I'd buy this game if it was stand alone. In fact... Why WASN'T it stand alone?

Midway screwed up there, I hope someone they will expand this into its own game though. Its the most amusing MK related game I've played and the first screw up I made is as fun as the last screw up I made. (My bro agrees with me also ¬_¬' ).
 
Uhhh, no! Can someone write a petition to Midway on making Motor Kombat as its own game please? And besides, I don't know how to make one anyway.

On topic: The funny thing about it is using those big headed kharacters for racing. Oh, one more thing. I think for some kharacters, like once in a while, there will be a special move that allows them to perform like a fatality. For example, Mileena's front car has teeth. So why not have that when she's behind the other racers and she activates the very special move, her car will start chomping and then spit the remains out from the trunk.
