I know you guys don't think this will happen. But I'm doin' this for fun. Would be nice for MK & Marvel heroes to unite against the MK & Marvel villains who formed an alliance as well.

EDIT: What would you guys think if this would happen now that the game has been rebooted?

Here's how the story would go...
- Spider-Man and Thor fight alongside each other against Mister Sinister & Loki. The two were lost and are forced to retreat.
- Dr. Doom gathers both them and Baron Mordo to help travel to the Mortal Kombat world where there are also evil men like them (Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi & Shinnok). All four villains in the MK world were defeated and were brought back by the Marvel villains. Doom offers Kahn and the others an alliance.
- Spider-Man ends up travelling in the MK world and makes friends with Liu Kang.

My idea on it?

Pretend this idea never existed! MK vs Marvel is nonexistent for one reason and one reason only; licensing.

Marvel is owned by Disney, MK is owned by WB (which also owns Marvel's biggest rival, DC). Marvel has also collaborated with Capcom dating back to the mid-90s, especially with a series of cross-over games beginning with 1996's X-Men vs Street Fighter. MK vs Marvel will NEVER happen. There is absolutely no way Disney will ever license their product to WB, and I know for a fact that the Mouse-eared company certainly won't license their product to a franchise famous for ripping people's spines out. Am I the only person here able to put 2 and 2 together about this issue? I certainly hope not.

Anyway "for fun" it makes sense cause Marvel has mythical and technological based characters along with MK. It would be very interesting and I think ti could work
 
Oh, you mean that troll who keeps getting banned? I never paid attention to that dude, nor did I ever take him seriously. But I stand behind what I said about MK vs. Marvel! Disney will have to buy the MK IP before MK vs Marvel EVER happens!
 
I like the idea of MK vs Marvel, in all honesty.

Seeing characters like Punisher, Venom, Deadpool go against Scorpion and company would be pretty cool.
