Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

I know I may have no connection with this project in any way.. however I've been watching the progress of this since it started and would like to say I LOVE the work you guys are doing, and the fact you guys put time in your work and not like "rush" or do "lazy" work, no, everyone's work here is terrific and no word can describe the awesomeness of it :hail: . Nice work, to everyone. I'll be watching!

C'mon tell us the truth arq, you dont actually create that model right?!

Its so mind blowing....!!!!

Are you the same guy who work with an 'earlier liu kang" on this project?

Excellent work man, your overall improvement its just fantastic!!

Te felicito!, de verdad tu modelo me dejo fascinado.

Gracias por compartir y seguir dedicado a este proyecto.

Enviado con uno de aquellos.

Pues sí brother, el mismo que viste y calza, LOL AND THIS ONE was build from scratch, cause liu I did it using gojira's great model, muchisismas gracias por tu critica, I'm glad you liked it!

Freaking awesome Goro right there. Kinda reminds me of the movie Goro with all those texturing details.

And i have to say. One thing that makes me almost emotional about this project is the fact that is taking the most important thing for me about the original Mortal Kombat games. That "aura" of mistery and a little bit of horror. MK5 was good, but those characters made of rubber and that cartoonish look never had a good impact on me.

Damn! That Goro is smooth looking, good job!
This post has been dead for a while. It was always exciting to check this every day to see some new artwork progress. Especially the characters in videos. But for a while it's been kind of flat around here. Last year it was moving along nicely.

Interloko said he was going to post some videos next month but Bleed has been working a lot on Sektor as of late. He was working on Raiden and Johnny Cage and the progress on them just kind of disapeared. I imagine it would get boring working on the same characters all the time, but if you focused the amount of work you've been doing on MK3/2 characters, on MK1 characters, this game would progress a lot further. Because as of right now, it seems it's only Arq making Goro and Liu Kang. I don't mean to sound like I'm causing trouble and I'm not trying to be insulting, just trying to point out something. Also, I realize there was a lot of time spent on bio/ending sprites, but the combat sprites would go a lot further in expanding the character right now.

@ttas
thanks a lot man, I'm just trying to do my best... hopefully I can finish Liu this year.... by the way, here is my first try at air punch
enjoy it

Great Job in Goro Modeling (the eyes are the final version)
Liu Animation too looks great.
Bleed Sektor, amazing video! thanks for sharing, will be cool see the Cyrax bomb and Net and Cyber Smoke Spear ;)
S4M, your sektor too looks great, maybe you can try to make the smoke effect :)

BTW, you bleed have almost half of MK3 characters :)

Jax
Kung Lao
Nightwolf
Sektor
Cyrax
Cyber Smoke
Kabal

Motaro
Shao Kahn

Maybe if you finish the MK1 Kano, you can use they parts to make the MK3 version one.

@Arq fantastic job on Goro, its cool to literally see your skills improve over the last year.

@Bleed what was the real time of the that wip video? Amazing work as usual.

Arq-the goro was just amazing, this causing me the same impression when I first saw it in the arcades mk1, congratulations for the great work.

Nice work on Sektor S4m, looking nice.

The videos I'm putting up are like 2 or 3 hours of work usually, I speed them up 600% to fit under 30 minutes on youtube.

Even that is too long, I think most people get bored under 10 minutes.

Arq's work is looking really awesome, a great improvement for a short period of time, looks like a natural talent.

Thanks a lot man!! That really really means a lot coming from people that talented as you are, but you should be proud too cause I know what I know because of you, this is like vegeta always trying to defeat goku, of course I'm not trying to defeat you but I'm just trying to be as good as you are, thanks for the motivation bro keep on posting that kind of videos, that is what keeps me going

Jesus, guys, this takes forever! Do you realize it took you a WHOLE YEAR to create just one complete character and it was a copy of existing model (Scorpion -> Sub-Zero)? At this rate, this will be finished sometime around 2021 (no exaggeration or sarcasm intended)! I was about to ask what's with the hold up, but then I scrolled back and everything was crystal clear. :( It doesn't take a genius to figure out that all this nitpicking is not only radically slowing what was already a slow process, but rather KILLING the project altogether! Now, I'm no programmer and as much as I'd want to help get this thing going, I can only contribute by offering an advice. And it's a sound one! uKer, bro, no offense, but you seriously need to step down... I know you mean well, but your constant insisting on splitting hairs is what's going to put an end to this (once) ambitious and promising project! And before your friends come to your defense (and, make no mistake, that is only because they are your friends, not 'cause what I stated here is not true), let's try and summarize things before and after you got involved in everything: Before - Two chars completed (Sub & Scorp) with two chars in early development (Cage & Liu Kang); After - Two chars completed (Sub & Scorp) with two chars in early development (Cage & Liu Kang). Harsh facts speak a story of their own... In fact, if it weren't for you, we'd probably have a completed Liu Kang by now. Sure, you helped create parts of intros and endings, but overall, bearing in mind that's all that is done over a course of a year, it's next to nothing. No disrespect, but the way your interventions are slowing things down, you are more damage than good. :( IMO, Bleed was doing an excellent job on his own with absolutely no need for anyone to lean over his shoulder and point out the flaws in each pixel. Once again, I don't mean to insult or anything... I'm merely pointing out the way things are. So, uKer, if you honestly value this project, I expect you to at least drastically lower your ridiculously high criteria regarding details. To tell the truth, it's an unforgiving overlook on the behalf of the rest of the team involved in the MKR for not noticing this and taking actions. I understand we're all buddies here, but friendship itself won't do much good in getting this project on its feet. I mean, we're not talking about making a treehouse here, right? Come on, guys, snap out of it! Don't let us down like this!
