I think if you want Sonya to look younger, you should look at the cheekbones and eyesockets. They need to be fuller. Those are the key areas that right now make her look emaciated and withered eye.

Softening the wrinkles will help but I think adding a bit more weight to these parts of her face will have a bigger impact. Just a suggestion.

Also I love the red earrings idea. Always saw them in the Tobias era.

It's great to see how the work has progressed. I loved seeing all this progress, but I have a note as to Kano. He appears to be wearing the clothes of the events in which actors performed in 1993. Some time ago, I did a drawing based on the original Kano. If it can help...

Kano is looking great so far, especially his face. Only thing I would say is be careful not to make him too muscular. I know he's was buff, but his arms are starting to give me that comic book vibe.

What I like the best about this are the colors and his facial likeness!
 
Hate to do this to you man, but those are the wrong ammo pouches. You are too fast, LOL so you grabbed the old ones that were in dropbox. The new ones require some TLC in zBrush to add stitching and stuff like that. Take a look on Dropbox again and you'll see the new pouches are much more accurate. By accurate I mean I modeled them based on the closeup images from the canceled MKHD, I'm pretty sure that he is wearing the original ammo pouch from back in the 90s.

Ok Interloko. What I am most interested in if you are ready to work is (by order of importance):

-game UI and graphics look exactly like the original game but in HD.
-updated attract mode screens (goro image is using the wrong one)
-having Scorpion and Subzero fully working with shadows.
-having as many stages built as possible with background stage animations, (fire, monks, shang sitting, cave eyes blinking)
-All music and sound fx implemented for Announcer, Scorpion and Subzero
-Fatalities for Scorpion and Subzero fully implemented.

The goal here is to produce a working demo that looks, sounds and acts just like MK1 but in HD with only 2 characters.

You tell us when you can finish this and provide me or Bleed some kind of updated play test. Lets say by the end of February as a tentative date. I'm not going to bother you about it everyday like I did before. If you are interested in contributing please provide updates maybe once a week. Something like "Hey guys here is what I've finished this week:"





in mugen 1.1 the explods aren't affected by envshake, and there are more "postype" options
i've read something about a font for the names, i didn't use a font because this is not a regular mugen game.

in this game you have all characters in a single file, i know you can make different def files but then you'll face other "problems".
these problems are:
- battle plan: there are 4 random battle plan per character
- endurances: using a font you can't change the name of your oponent after beating the first one.
- reptile & goro: if you unlock reptile you need to change your name to reptile (or scorpion if you want it like arcade). same goes to goro, after beating the third endurance.


now i'm with computer and my mother gave me some days ago a hdd i forgot in spain with some of my files, so if you still interesed in having me in the team i'm ready to work again.
if this is the case then i think it's better to organize in a better way what you want from me. we can split it in "mini tasks", for example: this week all the stages working right, next week replace character's sprites, then right colision boxes (i made an app for this), etc etc.

if you are not interesed and prefer bleed (or anyone else) coding, then take in account some stuff i made, like the round system wich allow hidden fights, endurances and goro fight after third endurance.

i've installed molebox and i'm downloading the files just in case
