uKER, I see what you're saying about Goro giving off the "blind fat lady" vibe....funny stuff

I still like the one MrMoss did the most though, maybe the neck area needs to have those veins and muscle definitions showing to make him look more masculine and not feminine. And maybe the top ridges/brow around his eyes could be fixed because it looks like it would block his vision, which gives off that "blind" feel...but this is all just being picky of course.

The thing is, I like the way Bleed redoes stuff.
Transparent overlay and make it so that it exactly matches what's underneath.
The Goro MrMos3s did, while not bad, doesn't hold up to a swapping-GIF comparison like most of the redone artwork does, and also in my particular opinion, it gives off a totally different character from the original.

The clenched teeth don't look right to me. In the original shot, to me it looks like he's going "what?!" with a hint of iness, if that makes any sense. Or more like a glamour shot, rather than a fight stance/portrait.

Maybe if the bottom row of teeth aren't as visible?

Up Left: Render by Bleed
Up Right: Original MK slightly clarified to see the few details of the hair
Down Left: Edit with hair created by Bleed
Down Right: Edit trying to define the shape of the original hair (draw only)

I just droped a few things on drop box:

1. Liu's large portrait render (.png) and it's background so MrMoss can do his magic. can you please draw him some eyelashes? he looks weird without them :P
2. Liu's new statue (@calactyte please can you replace the old one)
3. Liu's .ZTL model, there are two models, the one gojira uploaded, we can say the base mesh... and the one I uploaded wich has hair and pants some other things.

Yeah, I also thought the mouth pose was kinda more relaxed.

There is no visible gap between the front teeth.
The expression is subtle enough that the rear teeth appear separated but the front ones (being longer) still overlap.

Now, how's this?

By now I'd hope to have most anatomical and lighting features matching.

Great work :) Look good for me, just hair need work ;) The chin need lite work , is bit to big , lower lip missing

Will try to do something with the hair, and you're right about the lip.
Will do something about the chin too.
Expect a new version anytime soon.

I think Bleed's new reflections on the glasses look great and helps maintain a lot of the realism of the picture, I put in a vote that we keep Bleed's, but am open to suggestion of course.
