Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

Both Engines can use Javascript I believe. Unity certainly does.

Speaking of engines like unity and unreal etc, is the code similar to javascript? I heard something like this before.

Myself, I wouldn't mind getting away from MUGEN and using a better engine or building a better engine with javascript.

ttas, I don't think the project is going to move to other engine. I think it will be release in mugen or a mugen clone engine, not to Unity or Unreal.

About unity script. you can use JavaScript, C# or Boo. also combine them in different scripts.

Hey Bleed,

I can't PM you since your mailbox is full but can you please render these PNGs for me and put them into Dropbox.

-Subzero holding Scorpions head after a fatality.
-Scorpion on knees decapped.
-Scorpion with mask off, skull revealed fatality
-Burned Skeleton on Knees
-Scorpion harpoon throw pose
-A frame of the actual harpoon projectile
-a frame of Scorp, Subzero as they look when hit by an upper cut/hit with harpoon
-Subzero laying on the ground after having been hit

Yeah I'll send those soon as I can, I have the fall animation pretty far along now, just tweaking.

Unreal script is similar to C++.

aligiv65, the engine show this videos is something i tested time ago programmed in javascript into Unity3D.

Is pretty much a disaster, all the animations was made in 3 days, timing and distances are all different to arcade.

Is all 3d but with 2D controls, you can move in X and Y but Z is locked.

Im looking to remake it with a structure similar to Mugen but take time and is something i really haven't.

Bleed, with Ermac colors still looking amazing, what about reptile colors? :P

excellent work.
keep on this, im sure this is executable and its consequence would be certainly much better than spending time on mugen.

Bink!

Hey guys, just wanted to pop in and compliment you on your AWE inducing work.
I've been following this for sometime, and have been TRULY ASTOUNDED!

I threw this together just for the heck of it... I know the sizing/timing is off, but it was more of a curiosity piece :-p

The weird thing about seeing this video, with seeing the old sprite against the new one, it actually looks like a person jumped into the screen dressed in a ninja costume and gets killed by the game. The movement is so smooth compared to the original.

Someone mentioned before how small the characters were in the comp I created. Actually they are just the right size from what I can tell. Bleed's characters from within MUGEN are actually a bit too large. See the comparison below where we see Bleeds MUGEN shot at the top, the arcade upscaled in the middle and another comp I made at the bottom. See how my image at the very bottom compares closer in character sizing than Bleeds MUGEN version does?

Bleed is this easy to fix without a ton of effort? I hope MUGEN lets you pick any character scale you want and then it will scale the whole character instead of having to scale each individual frame of animation..

Wanted to show off the new cobblestone floor for the Palace Gates. Also I recreated the circular stones and trapezoid stones walkway on the Warrior's Shrine. I think it is of much higher quality than it was before.

There is an easy setting for character scale in mugen.

You lose a little quality when scaling at something other than 100%, but I like to see the characters a little bigger on screen.

I too am trying to learn some programming. I'm going with Java just because that is what everyone seems to think is best for making android apps. Although I really would like to make games so I'm beginning to second guess that decision. But either way I found this: https://code.google.com/p/java-fighting-game-engine/ It is too late tonight for me to look into it but it seems some programmers wanted to make a java mugen. All their contact info is there too.

With the OUYA and Nvidea's console comming out it would be pretty sweet if an "android mugen" came out and all your names were on it. May look good on a resume ;)

But again I have almost no clue what I'm talking about so...

I think characters really should look in the right proportions regarding the stages, not to mention regarding the camera. Having bigger characters would be against the spirit of remaing MK1 in HD.

Please get them in the size scale...! :(
