Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

I very like the new details in the cloth, the only critic i can do is that the cloth looks a bit symmetric, special the front cloth between the legs.

The new topology of the top body looks fantastic, i believe it will deform very well with a good weight skin. can you add a pic of the up body black?

About your portfolio what i seen of your work so far is only characters, not too much props or stage staff. you should try model some staff in this area.
 
This is the first pass, I need to even it out some and get rid of the excess geometry. Basically what I do is trace the muscles and fill the gaps after.

I do need to make some props, that's part of why I think it would be cool to make a short FMV. I could even build the scene for Test Your Might, and use that for a first try.

You have absolutely nailed the fine art of retopology. Don't waste too much time on the statue. I just need you to grab the win pose and export as .obj for scorp. It's actually better if you export all the parts as one unit for me. I'll handle the stone material and all the cracks since I have developed a really nice stone shader which I'm using in VRAY to render. What is cool about the Stone shader I made is that it finds cracks and crevices and adds a bit of dirt to those areas to help bring out details.

The mirroring detail on the cloth was intentional because I'll use it for Mugen, and the sprites will snap when turning.

If I make it asymmetrical, a second normal map is needed with no wrinkles, to smooth the texture when flipping the sprites. This is probably the way to go.

You never got around to make the Scorp win pose yesterday right? Didn't see it dropbox but I wasn't sure since sometimes I feel like Dropbox doesn't refresh very fast.

Thank you sir! I just saw that. I'll try to have the statue built today or tomorrow. Do you think you'll be able to get back doing scorps animations? Maybe his Leg Sweep animation? Or Upper Cut? Would be great to get on a roll and finish him off.

1 thing, i think that only you have a material in his arms but anyway Jax had some black lines in both arms.

In case of Jax, will be really easy make the MK2 version from MK3 version.

Wow Bleed, a big surpriso to me, sorry but i think his legs are a little bit wierd, i dont think jax's legs were like that but anyway Good Job, You are impressing every day with your characters
 
Impressive work on Jax, need some work on legs, face and upper body is perfect, 10/10 on that, but can I ask you why a MK3 character instead of a MK1? Nothing wrong with him of course!
 
Because I'm making MK3 stuff on the side, and I need some critique. It keeps the thread going, and all the MK stuff I'm doing can be used for a team project in the future.

Good work on Jax. I was going to comment before on why you are making MK3 chars, but I guess some already beat me to it.
But anyway, does anybody know the char %? How much is each character done at this point?
 
Jax's shoes are smaller and the lines have been added to the arms.

I'm making the crouch block animation for Scorpion right now.
