Yeah, it just seems like this game just isn't for you, which is a shame since I think the game is shaping up great, but I know I won't be able to convince you otherwise, which is fine, nobody should be forced to like something. I just hope the guys over at NRS don't get to bummed out over all these leaks, sure there marketing has been slow and kinda bad at points, but it must hurt to have a plan and feel excited to show off new things only for some rando to drop pics of it online before you're ready. Atleast we still got story and the game modes still unspoiled.
 
I may be really going deep here but the remaining 3 slots which we assume are unlockables. Shouldn't they also have names on them? i mean the developers should know who is unlockable. Unless these are another DLC

Not to mention Shinnok's moveset in MKX was a big improvement over his MK4 one. Where he was simply just a poor man's Shang Tsung.

I do hope they go further with Shinnok in MK11.

Surely, his moveset was waaaaaay better than MK:A, and galaxies beyond MK4, but except bone shaper, they were still too poor. For a boss, he should be way better, I always think they missed the opportunity - with NO explanation at all - of including his shield move, the crimson bolt, and other attacks with the Amulet: all of them debuting MKX, still, weren't included.

Now with this whole variation thing, I think we might get the best Shinnok of all. Still, I'm too suspicious, despite the whole veracity of the roster, haven't seen his face, and his character looked badly rendered as NPC (maybe it was on purpose), so I'll only rest when I see him.

Raiden vs Shinnok is gonna be epic.
 
I'm going to assume that Shinnok in MK11 will probably be his original timeline counterpart. In the original time, he was never killed off in the battle of Armageddon along with Liu Kang's ghost and Shao Khan.
 
If it's original timeline Shinnok, man, that one has things to tell. But I don't think so, I imagine Kronika will be getting people from between MK1 to MK3 when it comes to originality. I mean, she couldn't bring Shinnok from Armageddon, since Raiden erased that outcome, but she can bring MKII Liu Kang because he could exist. Who knows if in the end they might have to "revive" Shinnok, right.

Guys at Netherkast made a good point about the MK youtubers. About how fukked up it is that they were flown out by WB, shook hands with all of the NRS guys and now post all these spoilers with no concern for the community. They put names in titles and pictures in thumbnails. It's so shameful
 
So, I see the Misucra nuke has been set off...

Whether he's overreacting or not, I do agree with him. There's just something about this game that's really offputting. Guy really has invested a lot into his favorite character, and they go on and just completely revamp her for no reason.

This is how I feel about Jade too. The design is completely butchered for some reason, she doesn't look like her previous iterations at all.

Why change something we grew up with? I don't recall anyone going "you know, I'd play Jade more if she'd look like a completely different character!". Wasn't she one of the most popular characters already?

Then the fact that they made her into this heavy zoner even though once again, she was supposed to be this rushdown character with some zoning capabilities. Hence the glow and glow kick.

Kotal doesn't look great either, even though it's just one pixelated image. That only leaves me with Scorpion, gameplay looks fine, but his dumpster diver primary is just hilariously bad. Skarlet looks like ass.

I dunno, even though I have 3 of 4 characters in the roster, my hype levels are basically 0. I didn't say much about the story because there is no point to discuss something we've barely seen. It DOES seem like a reboot of a reboot, and why the hell would I want to play that? I have MK9 already.

The way they've handled this game is super weird too. PC gets shafted from day -1. No beta, and if I'd believe Misucra they did a terrible job with Injustice 2. The way they present info is like watching a dud going off. Kano, D'vorah...Those reveals were so lame. And of course my biggest problem is that this is basically a repackaged Injustice game with gore. It's just so hard for me to believe that this game took 4 years to create, and yet the leap is so tiny. Just to put into perspective, Deception and SM were release 1 year apart. And yet the difference in those games is like night and day.

Yeah the fatalities got more grotesque even though they seem to have a Brains and Eyes fetish now. But honestly, you watch them once and the novelty goes away. Becomes boring really quick.

Think I'm taking a break from MK games. Might just pick this one when the "Komplete" edition is out with a 50% discount.

Noob's customization items are his mask, his sickles (new weapon for him) and his shadow.

I wonder how indepth they'll go with that. I'll grind for 30 years straight if there's even a hint of a chance that I can get Robot Smoke as a "shadow" for Noob.

You guys complaining about the way a character looks, we all know there are something like 6 skins per character and each skin has a few coloring options, just because you don't like one version doesn't mean you won't like the other 5.
 
The negativity I see for this game is so exaggerated. I saw a guy on discord yesterday who was saying the online was going to be shit again. They fixed the online for their games 3 years ago lol

Honestly the roster is pretty damn decent and this coming from somebody who liked the 3D characters for the most part and a big hater of ALL the kombat kids..

If there is any truth to rumours regarding the unlockable characters.. I'm happy with it. I'd love to see shang back!

Obviously missing out on some big names but I am hopeful that they will be in the kombat packs.

28 characters base roster and the 1st kombat pack is 6 characters.. I'm pretty stoked bout that.

I could've done without Erron, miss bricks and daddy bricks though.. and YES I'm pissed Fujin is getting wrongfully shafted yet again. How long must I wait till I see Fujin do a new fatality? It's been since the late 90's ffs.

I think the kombat packs will be predictable for the most part.

i'm really expecting the first kombat pack is something like this

Is there anyone I'm missing you think has a better chance of being in? Or do you think there will be more female characters for DLC?
I'm not making any of that list based on who I like.. it's just who I think will be in otherwise I'd have my boy Reiko in there and Tanya :(
 
So If Kronika is helping out Shinnok, and Dvorah is helping Shinnok, why would Kronika bring back two characters Dvorah killed ( Baraka, Mileena?)

I don't think she's purposely bringing anyone back. I think she's just merging the timelines and old timeline characters are showing up because of it. Because there's zero reason why Kronika would want to bring back Good Liu Kang, one of the baddest dude in the entire Mortal Kombat mythos.
 
Gosh where are all these leaks coming from?

Once I start seeing leaks relating to the story I think I will have to stay off anything MK related
