The funny thing is that the MK leakers happen to be the ones with the most morals out of all of the fighting game fanbases.
So motherfucking annoying.

Goodness gracious I can't wait until this game comes out so that all of that horseshit can die and that sub-reddit can become a desert for at least 4 years until the next MK comes out. Maybe 1 or 2 posts when Thiny data mines it for KP2 and KP3 and then that dry period of time.
Hope that sub-reddit shrivels up like a dehydrated grape. To hell with them all.

17 years....finally, Nitara is back and Megan Fox revives her!! She is one of my favorite 3D era female characters since Deadly Allaince! She is now voiced by Megan Fox only makes it so much better! She fits the Nitara character perfectly! Thank you so much, Ed Boon and NRS for hiring her and scanning her face for Nitara!

I really love her new look! She's perfectly looking with her red eyes when she is angry. I absolutely love her redesign! I love her air combo potential! She has a buff, flight cancel, dive kick, air dash and spit attack with a feral fighting style. Exactly as I expected her to play like with air combos being her jam. I give her a 10! She would be my main! I can't wait for more of her gameplay!

I'm extremely glad they keep the Nitara and Ashrah rivalry. Basically Ashrah is killing Nitara’s people to help purify her soul which Nitara doesn't like.

It’s a double reference - one of Megan Fox’s movie called Jennifer’s Body and
Jen was Kung Lao's girlfriend who died in the first episode of MK: Conquest. I enjoyed watching Jennifer's Body and it was so good.

I'm very glad to see her return along with Ashrah, Havik, Li Mei, Reiko, Shujinko as Kameo and Darrius as Kameo, who are some of the most requested characters of the MK's "3D Era". Finally, those underrated characters are getting some love after so much time being absent. I love the 3D Era representation in this game! Thank you, Ed Boon for bringing back the 3D era characters!

On this part and the fact that her gameplay and design looks good, I'll agree on.
That VO work, though....🤢🤮

As far as the overall roster goes, I agree that it's far better than I thought we'd get, imo.
Never thought we'd get 7 post-MK3 characters on the main roster, 4 post-MK3 characters as kameos and Quan Chi all in the same game.
Would have preferred Sareena being playable instead of a kameo, but it is what it is... :rolleyes:

Regarding the roster (in general), I have a sinking feeling that that leak showing the 24th main roster spot and 16th kameo spot grayed out means that those are DLC placeholders just like MK9 with the double Cyber Sub-Zero slots at the bottom.

Just a gut feeling that I have, but don't be surprised if those grayed out slots are essentially this again............

Nope. As an audio guy that shit just sounded so bland and lifeless, to me.
Again, hopefully that was just the raw recording that we heard in the trailer before they added different plug-ins / effects to it.
Thankfully, though, 1vs1 and Towers don't have intros so I won't have to hear her speaking much.
 
It doesn't really bother me that Megan Fox is voicing Nitara but if I had my way I would have picked Aubrey Plaza over Fox IMO. It seems she would bring more fun and personality to the character but I get she doesn't have the star power.

I'm going to bet the 24 roster post on the leak roster is likely a DLC spot. I doubt we will have a hidden final character.

So.......24th slot is grayed out, 16th kameo slot is grayed out and now the last stage is also grayed out.
I'm going to go back on my previous comment and say that this isn't a DLC slide out / space.

With this new info about the last stage also grayed I'm guessing that the 24th slot is the final boss (similar to Shinnok in MKX), the 16th kameo slot is final kameo that the final boss uses and the last stage that you unlock are from beating story mode.
Too many things (roster slot, kameo and stage) are being grayed out for it to just all be DLC.

Also, along with that one stage that is grayed out it's been more recently noted that the Switch port of the game also won't let people progress past Chapter 5 of the story mode.
Perhaps NRS finally wised up and made it a day 1 patch so that people that got physical copies from vendors who broke street date before the 14th can't go past Chapter 5 and spoil it for others. It's likely that the physical (Switch) cartridge and discs (PS5 and XSX) only contains the info that's needed until Chapter 5 of the game.

Plus, supposedly people also can't finish the Towers, which also leads me to believe that this has to do with the final boss being playable like how we had Brainiac unlockable after you beat Injustice 2's story mode.

Don't insult the N64 like that! The N64 version of mk trilogy was the preferred way to play back in the 90's. due to no load times. I don't see anyone going on about the switch version of MK1 in the future. No wonder Nintendo is leaking stuff about the switch 2 at gamescom.

I was referring to the poor graphics in general, but yeah. Lol
I don't see why they didn't just reveal the MK1 port for the Switch 2, whenever that comes out.
Even my potato Series S will be able to play MK1 without any issues, so why it's out on something much less powerful than that is beyond me.
 
Well It's Nintendo so they always get a free pass with weaker hardware since the switch is nothing more than portable tablet with joycons attached. Hopefully the stuff that Eurogamer reported turns out to be true and Nintendo finally make a system that can keep up with the current consoles. Apparently the switch 2 ran the Matrix demo so that's awesome if true.
 

So yeah, it's nowhere near to the speed of MK9, even on high level, but much better spectacle than the borefest that was MK11.

Also 8:51... Good old NRS Unreal Engine 3+++ input bugs. Gawd............
