Welcome to the Official MKRM Art Contest thread. This is a contest where artist, or just people who like to draw, come together and compete in making the new look for the characters in my upcoming spin-off game, Mortal Kombat Redemption Mythologies.
For those who don't know, MKRM is an upcoming non-commercial fan-game that I'm creating that will be based solely upon my fanfic, Mortal Kombat Mythologies. It is set two months after season two and 12 years after season 1 where the ninth tournament is about to begin. This fanfic does not follow the exact storyline or history of the canon Mortal Kombat, so if you need information on the history, look up my fanfics called Mortal Kombat Mythologies.
[Concept]
-Draw a picture of any character from the list below and submit it on this topic in one of the sites below.
-Only one picture per character.
-You can draw up to 5 of the characters, but no more than 5.

-Ermac
-Scorpion (Human Version)
-Scorpion (Spectre Version)
-Subzero
-Noob Saibot
-Sindel
-Reptile
-Rain
-Sheeva
-Baraka
-Hydro
-Kung Lao
-Quan Chi
-Shang Tsung (Old)
-Shang Tsung (Young)
(You can add other characters in the picture with them, but those characters won't be judged.)
[Rules]
-Everything must be original and 2d. No 3d art is allowed.
-Do not copy the design of someone else's character.
-Colors and backgrounds are allowed, but not required.
-Battle Pictures are not allowed, unless you just want to show off your picture. It will not, however, be judged.
-Pictures that break the site rules are not allowed.
-Your picture can have more than one character, but the characters must be spaced out.
-Do not bash other peoples hard work.
[Submitting the Artwork]
All artwork must be submitted on this thread in either of these sites: trmk.org, kamidogu.com, or mksecrets.net. All submissions must be finished by June 30, 2012; 12:00PM US Central Time.
[The Prize]
There will be 3 Judging Events.
The first will be to determine which 3 versions of each character will be sent to be judged in the second event, which is used to determine which concepts will be used for my game. Winners of the second event will get their design in the game, get credited, and will also be able to join the third Judging event which is used to determine the best drawing in the entire contest. The first place winner will be able to choose/make up his character's intro, outro, special moves, x-ray abilities, and fatalities. Second place will be able to do the same, but only without the intro, outro, and fatalities. Third place is without the X-Rays as well. Everyone else will be choosing only 1 special move. To those who don't win, your hard work will not be forgotten. What becomes of your work, however, will come as a surprise.
