<b>Cinder</b> over on the <a href="http://forums.midway.com/all_things_mk_armageddon/b10762/24762334/p1/?42">Midway Boards</a> has revealed some pertinent information on the distributions of the four <b>Premium Edition</b> versions of <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_armageddon/">Mortal Kombat: Armageddon</a> for <b>Sony's PlayStation 2</b>. Unfortunately, it appears that you will not be able to walk into any store and find more than one version of the <b>Premium Edition</b> box as each is exclusive to a specific store. <b>Johnny Cage</b> and <b>Goro</b> will be at <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=pd2w*IOD4qM&offerid=13850.499659635&type=10&subid=" style="color:yellow">EB Games / Gamestop</a><img alt="icon" width="1" height="1" src="http://ad.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/show?id=pd2w*IOD4qM&bids=13850.499659635&type=10&subid="> stores. <b>Kano</b> and <b>Sonya</b> will be at <b>WalMart</b>. <b>Shao Kahn</b> and <b>Sindel</b> are at <b>Best Buy</b> and the standard boxart <b>Premium Edition</b> will be at <b>GameCrazy</b>, typically attached to <b>Hollywood Video</b> movie rental stores. The <b>Premium Editions</b> will retail for <b>$49.99</b>, while the standard <b>PlayStation 2</b> version and the <b>Xbox</b> version will retail for <b>$39.99</b>.

The <b>Premium Editions</b> will feature a second <b>60-minute DVD</b>, featuring a <b>"History of Fatalities"</b> and video featurettes of more than <b>50 characters</b>, an autographed animation cell of the game's cover by <b>Ed Boon</b> and an arcade perfect emulation of <b>Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3</b>. <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_armageddon/">Mortal Kombat: Armageddon</a> is currently scheduled for a simultaneous <b>Sony PlayStation 2</b> and <b>Microsoft Xbox</b> release on <b>October 9th, 2006</b>, with a <b>Nintendo Wii</b> version slated for the <b>First Quarter</b> of <b>2007</b>.

Looks like i will be getting the Goro/Johnny Cage version since i preordered it at Gamestop. Ohh well, i dont really care about the cover.

Yeah, who cares about artwork that you can download off the Internet. As long as I can play it, I don't care how pretty the packaging is. I know that Idiot TMK will buy one of every version. How sad is that I ask you. The guy has more money than cents, and he has no sense :hmmmm:

Pretty slim selection of cover art if you ask me. But If I was going to get one of these, it would be the Kahn/Sindel edition.

I don't care neither about the packages, you look at it once and you put the disk and I forget about it. but if I had to choose, I'll take the one with Dragon logo.

Anyone ever visited or bought anything from the GameCrazy chains? I've never heard of them and there is one by my place. If they pay more for used games than ebgames/gamestop does I might just head on over there and sell my old hockey games and MK-DA since I rarely play them anymore... knock a few dollars off the price of the PE as well.

import the game and the console? I don't have that money...
it's unfair! we didn't get the MKD premium pack, we didn't get MK2 with MKSM and now...

Well, there used to be a Gamecrazy in my local Hollywood Video. I just asked if there was another one because the one that was here got booted. I might pre-order it there just for the dragon cover. I'm picky, yup, but it is a good generic cover. And it's shiny!
