MK9 PS3 vs. 360 which should i get?

I have both a PS3 and a 360 and personally i favor my 360 over my ps3 so i gave my ps3 to my brother . so technically it's his now -.- so i only get to play it like over the weekends if i see him. Now i wanna play the hell outta MK, but this whole exclusive stuff is killing me. If it weren't for Kratos i would've gotten MK on 360 hands down. i don't want a console war, just some advice ^^ i'm a god of war fan btw. but still COME ON!! WHY do sony and microsoft have to make this decision so hard for me!
Any idea which version will have more people playing it online?
Any chance microsoft will have an exclusive DLC along the line?

Right now, you can call me crazy but i want it on my 360 to play it 24/7...but i cant just IGNORE the exclusive content on the PS3...

But seriously, don't let the console war infect your decision. If your 360 is at home with you, then get it for the 360. I know I wouldn't like to wait 5 days just to play the game every time.

personally, i want the ps3 version, just because i don't wanna keep my 360 te (150 bucks is a lot of money)

BUUUUT the online play will probably be no comparison....so ill prob keep the te edition to deal with the normal controller..


if you favor online play. get 360.

if you are getting it for single player only, get ps3. but remember, if u get ps3, sounds like ull be sharing the game with your brother.
 
Well, if you're a Kratos fan I don't think there's too much to think about it. PS3 right away. And it's +1 character. That's always good whatever the way you look at it. Specially if he turns out to be fun to play.

Another thing to me is that on the King of the Hill mode I prefer the MK avatars that they made, endlessly over the Xbox ones. lol
 
I'm not even gonna vote. If you have a 3D TV and want to play as Kratos, get the PS3 one. If you love XBox Live and Achievements, get the 360 one. Looking at all the videos on Youtube in the last day or so the only way I can tell a difference between the two versions is by the button graphics when someone checks the moves list.
 
I don't believe you... Are you REALLY gonna start another console war to determine which you should get? Unbelievable.

Anyway: PS3. Only because of Kratos
 
I own both consoles as well and am getting PS3 but in your circumstances it seems easier to go for the 360 since you own the system still but if you had your PS3 I would go PS3 hands down for a few reasons. PS3 has Kratos and Kratos Stage and your a GOW fan, PS3 has a superior D-Pad, Also I have noticed from videos it seems to load a tad quicker the 360. Xbox 360 on the other hand has the superior online experience so if you plan to play online allot its a no brainer in that case but either way you cannot go wrong and Graphics are the same on both :-).

Facts: Both games run at a Native 720P @ 60 FPS, Xbox has the Xbox Live advantage, Ps3 Has Kratos/GoW3 Arena.

The game runs at 60 frames constant, the Unreal Engine 3 is more stable on the Xbox 360, and in some cases has better tuned graphic details, however, that depends on the game itself. ( The Xbox 360 Version of unreal has native AA support so less "jaggies" at an angle ).

Please no fanboyism.
 
It's a really stupid question. PS3 of course!! 3D capable 1 extra character and stage. Xbox gets stupid little avatars big deal.
Just look at all the cry baby's saying where our demo? Where's r exclusive content. "I don't care if I dont get Kratos", Kratos Sux" I want Master Chief"

Go play COD and quit whining! At least u get ur map packs 2 weeks early
 
lol @ Xbox Live advantage... Is that myth really still running? Even with a game that is not even out yet?

It's not a fact that every game runs better on Xbox live than on PS3. Simply a huge myth, mostly used on North America. lol From personal experience I can give you the example of Fifa 2010 that had a huge problem on the Xbox live where no one would be able to find a game.

Who knows if they will not run exactly the same way like most games do, and if so... You have the Playstation Plus side, and that's something that can be a real advantage. Who knows if they put up some future DLC's there for half the price or even for Free like they do with other games.
 
I went to PAX Seattle last year and got to play MK9 on PS3 and 360 and they looked identicle to me, if anything the PS3 edges seem to be a tad more sharp probably due to the Blu Ray HD quality but really to the naked eye you wont notice the difference. To me the big selling point on PS3 more then even Kratos and his stage is the superior D-PAD.
 
Like I said, the Unreal engine runs a little bit better on Xbox, Its a known fact with the engine.

I specialize in* computer technology and spend a vast amount of time doing research for these things.

It's honestly a PERSONAL preference other than the things I listed.

Xbox live tends to run better for multi-platform online games for stability and patches/downloads are faster.

THIS IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE.

If I still had my PS3, I PERSONALLY would get it because I'm a fan of Kratos.
