MK10 Story Being Worked On.

Ed Boon tweeted this during one of his tweeting sprees yesterday.

Good to know, but really not all that surprising when you think about it. MK is NRS's only franchise, kinda makes a bunch of sense that they'd start work pretty quickly on the next game.
 
Possible, but it's probably best not to jump to conclusions. Boon didn't directly say MK in his reply, and has talked before about considering new projects. This could be one of them.
 
He also said that the game will probably not be based on MK4, since they changed the timeline. With that and also the fact Ed Boon said in his bio card, "Maybe Shinnok shouldn't have been the final boss in MK4", this means he possibly won't be the main boss in MK10, or Shinnok will either be much more menacing as the main antagonist this time around if he is the main boss in MK10.
 
This isn't surprising really. I'm always shocked that so many people think they aren't working on the sequel yet. In reality, they probably set teams working on the sequel the second they finished MK9, presuming they aren't making a different game.

not at all! a desync is nothing like cheating. A desync is a tiny error from people having DLC issues and is involuntary. Cheating is a choice by a partner generally because their partner won't put out.

Im sure the story is not the only thing they are working on, but if you want to use that as an excuse then fine, what about 3 months after mk 9 release, 2 dlc characters plus more coming and costumes, and still shitty online play, it bothers me they are putting effort of any kind into Dlc and another game when we got an online gameplay clusterf***. At least on the ps3 version.

Sorry, but like the "Story guys" I mentioned earlier, the graphics artists, sound designers and mocap talent don't work on the net code either. These people need something to do, so story writers work on the next games plot, and the rest of the people I mentioned work on DLC. If they didn't have these projects to work on, what would they be paid for? Sitting around the office, twiddling their thumbs?

Engineers work on the net code, and they're still working on it for MK9.

Like see Shaolin Monks 2 or adventure for next, if adventure it might not come out till Fall 2012 but if wait I hope it looks good and if fighting game that's just as fine also but have new characters, please NRS.
 
i don't care who works on what. somebody should be fixing online. and i don't just mean lag. I WANT TO SEE THE ****ING CONNECTION. and take my damn record off the player matches.
