MK Movie Reptile in next game...

I wouldn't. They could just say that after the invasion was over and he was no longer possessed by Onaga, he was finally able to return to his race to live and train, which would cause him to re-evolve back into a more humanoid form. Or hell, I dunno, they could just make up some shit about him getting his wish to be a real human boy.

Well, that's what I never understood. Reptile has been devolving because he's been away from his (DINOSAUR) race. Why is it that when they're all together and happy and all that shit that they're humanoid? Wouldn't it be just the opposite?

Because Ed Boon put the character into a game before he even had a story, so once he painted himself into that corner, he had to make up some shit real fast to fill in the gaps. :D

For you guys who are talking about Humanoid Reptile, This Reptile was from the MKII commercial, And I would think that maybe,just maybe, This is what Ed Boon, May he bless us all, really wanted Reptile to look like, But maybe that wasnt possible in the game or it was too late to change it, So thats why Reptile looks like he does in MKSM.

I always assumed that he was de-evolving because of Shao Kahn being gone. It started when he worked for Shinnok. So I just assumed that Kanh gave him a humanoid form. But I'm probably wrong.

Nah, the explanation for his de-evolution is that the more time he spends away from his reptilian race, the more primitive his looks become. The humanoid appearance was apparently just in the natural evolution of his species.
 
Well... Mammals supposedly evolved from lizards late near the end of the rule of the dinosuars... The start we were just small little rodent-like things mainly... The dinosuars properly stepped on us more then anything.... But hey... We survived and they didn't. But thats based on real life history. I don't want to heck see the MK's history of how things came to be.

Hopefully Reptile won't un-evolve so much he ends up as a pile of slime.
 
Well with all the deaths, rebirths, deaths again, etc, im sure they can throw some stuff together to make the Reptile we all know and love.
 
Well I dont object to the human form Reptile which I think is the best thus far...

Still what if they had a mixture of Reptile in his human form and a reptilian creature. So he would be almost like a werereptile. A skinny yet sleek looking ninja with retractable claws for a weapon. Im not talking about something like in deadly alliance where its a green humanoid with a lizard head. I am talking about something more animalistic while still retaining a humanoid form of appropriate size.
 
i think reptile should be a ninja with some reptilian traits like a cool tail but he should not be a weird dinosaur like thing just not fully ninja
 
No, I just think that they should stay with the ninja look and when he pulls off his mask, if he ever does, it should be reptillian like, kind of like scorpion, when he pulls off his mask he has a skeleton face.
 
I wouldn't mind that as long as his head isn't fully like how it is in MK: DA, but like the pic of the Reptile from the MKII commercial, but with his mask off of course.
 
i didnt know that reptile was changin at mk4 i think that he turned into that form coz he tooked of his mask(his mk4 face is the same as mk2/3 wen he do the fatality)and how about this form the normal ninja reptile that we all know and love but when he do a fatality he just dont only take his maske of his all ninja cloths looking in d.a. just for the fatality...well this idea sucks but wat the hack
 
So, if I understand that uber-confusing post right (which I doubt I do), you want to see a ninja Reptile getting naked before he performs a fatality? That's sick.
 
MK Movie Reptile in next game

I think Mk movie Reptile would be good as an alternate outfit, but they'd have to give him monster like fighting styles such as Crab (MK:DA) or Monkey kung fu. Only then would I be satisfied.

But yea i loved mk 1 reptile the best.. i thought they should have sticked with the whole slimy skull concept.
