How long should the game been in customs? this is my current tracking info

I ordered from game.co.uk, and like a few others am still waiting! I hope it makes it tomorrow for the weekend.

Just some extra information for anyone else who ordered from game.co.uk, my order was dispatched on the 19th April. I emailed them on the 27th asking for any tracking information as I had no received my item. They replied on the 4th May! stating that no tracking information was available and that normal delivery time was 4-6 days although on rare occasions it could take longer and then said I was required to wait up to 28 days for delivery and after this time I could contact them regarding a refund or replacement.

First, and last time I ever order from game.co.uk
 
Dammit im starting to get agitated with this, im not sure if this is right or not, i really want this for the weekend, its been in hong kong for about 30 hours now still hasnt had the departure scan i have no idea whats up :S

28 days! That sucks big time! Lets hope you dont have to wait that long! I didnt order from any game companies. My friend from the UK sent it on the 23rd of April with International Signed for. I suppose im just being impatient cause the Easter break was in the middle of that. I also am unable to track it :(
 
Oh. I bought my copy from Play-asia. It is listed as NTSC and says Made In Mexico... I made a UK xbox live account and got my friend to purchase me a UK Kombat Pass? It's working online but I think that is only because of the 2 day trial thing? I'll find out tomorrow anyway... so you're saying since mine is made in MEXICO, I should make a MEXICAN LIVE ACCOUNT and redeem my kombat pass through there? I haven't redeemed my normal one that I got with the game yet coz it said it was invalid...
 
This is why I don't order from UK. Delivery can be real spotty. Sometimes you get them in 5-7 working days and sometimes it will take 3 weeks and there's no tracking.

That's pretty normal of them to ask that you wait 28-30 days for an order. So many things can delay a package. I'm pretty sure you'll get the game within the next week.

I suppose it is a good thing that all of the people that ordered from the UK still don't have their copies. If everyone else already had the game I'd be worried about customs. They can't have seized all the UK copies and none from anywhere else. That seems highly unlikely.

Just wish they'd hurry the hell up.
 
Just remembered that Friday the 29th of April was a holiday for the Royal Wedding AND the 2nd of May was a Bank HOLIDAY too! So including easter break, THAT would be the reason why mail is really slow in the UK. So they have virtually had 2 long weekends in a row!

From what i've heard, NO one has had their copy seized, i've so far read only people who have gotten it, i haven't heard anyone have it seized, so i guess we should be fine, they probably have more important stuff on their hands such as searching for drugs, and foreign plants/food ect.

EDIT: Woo! my copy has just left hong kong, hopefully it is on its way now :)

Because of the whole PAL thing. I wasn't aware that the game was region free until after it was released, by which time I had already pre-ordered.
 
Personally, I went with the UK for the Pal reason, the price (less than half what other places were charging), and because a smaller company was less likely to use branded packaging - at the point of order there was all that fuss about Customs being aware and looking for orders. I figured a generic package was safer...

Looks like I needn't have bothered!
