Major Announcements Next Week!

I KIND OF agree. I mean, it's just big for those that live or have a close drive to one of those cities. It's not like i will hop on a plane from Sweden to Dallas just to play a little bit of MK. It's not that I'm dissapointed if they don't show us something but when they say "BIG NEWS" and we get something like this, then yeah, it's disrespectful.

With that said though, we don't know what the rest of the week will look like. So I'm gonna wait a few days before going berserk on some a-hole!

Right. I should have been more clear on the fact that I don't think they are being disrespectful just yet. It is only Tuesday, they still have most of the week to "Wow" us. But if this bus tour ends up being the major announcement then I see it as a slap in the face of a majority of the fanbase. I guess I'm just over reacting.
 
Trust me, there will be no demo for PSN and XBL before the game is released. It would've taken too many resources away from the polishing of the retail game to make it, trust me.
 
If the bus tour really is the announcemenet this week, NRS needs to quit overestimating how exciting their announcements are.

And "Major Announcement" sounds like something that would be relevant to EVERYONE, which is decidedly not this tour schedule...so maybe there's something else later on this week.

I'm not so sure about a demo myself. Seeing now this road tour, and with the PAX East and that mini tournament or something in Europe, I doubt they are even gonna have time to make a demo.
 
if the bus tour is the big news im gonna be extremely pissed, i dont classify 'big news' as something that affects 1% of the people who will be buying MK

I still think it's a demo. People are thinking it's less likely because of the road tour, but I don't think that's the case. For one, the road tour is only going to a few select cities, thus leaving out a LARGE portion from ever getting hands on with the game before release. Secondly, the demo could have more purpose than just to get our hands on the game. It can be a way for them to fix glitches and prepare their servers and whatnot for when the game is actually released. A way to smooth it out so to speak, in a way that you just can't get from a road tour or convention showing. So I wouldn't lose all hope yet, they still have yet to announce something they "have never done before", and releasing a demo on XBL and PSN is something they haven't done before. The MK:DA demo is used as a counter argument to the demo theory, but that was on a disc and in a magazine if I am not mistaken, not a demo available to EVERYONE with online capabilities, a completely different thing.
 
Well, they've never done a demo before. The tour was done with MK4. Heck they've even had the developers fight the fans, more than once. I mean what else could there be?

It's funny you said that. I doubt that that's what going to happen but my local gamestop has the release date as 4/1 on thier release board. I'm not going to read into that as anything more than an error on their part I just thought it was funny.

That sucks, you guys have the best accents too. Well tied with the Australians. I guess the UK really never shows their MK love so they don't bother? I mean in USA, guys like Tim Static set up tournies and stuff like that.
