Despite the 'Brutality' sound file that was found a while back, all signs are pointing to them not being in the game, and Boon and company was putting fake stuff in the game files...aka like the MK2 Kano Transformation stuff.

Noones found them yet, and more recent damning evidence is this Tweet from Ed:

I was hoping for more than just Babalities, but it doesnt seem like thats the case. There's always stuff they could sneak in via game patches, or DLC, but who knows...
 
Kind of a dumb thing to tweet to Boon. If you didn't pull it off why go bragging to one of the biggest men responsible for the game? He's gonna know you're full off s--t and then shut you down lol. With all the people hacking the game, punching in every conceivable combination of buttons in every conceivable combination of situations, if they were workable right off someone would've found them. Boon's prolly not gonna be tricked into giving away secrets lol.

PS - When I say "you" I don't mean "you" as in the OP, it's a more generalized "you".

While it could be seen as dumb to tweet that to him, its also a clever way (whether intentional or not) to get him to comment on it. Ed could be just being Ed and further trolling us like he always does, or maybe he did inadvertantly confirm that they're not in the game.

Yeah, I thought about that but Boon seems more likely to ignore it if it's true rather than confirm it. He'd want to be sure everyone knows it before he lets the cat officially out of the bag. Least he tried though lol
 
Well why will they do that if they can realese them as DLC and charge us to get them lol but i really dont care about brutalities im fine with fatalities and we already know more fatalities are coming as DLC.
 
More than averring the lack of Brutalities, Boon's Tweet is significant in that it confirms an important fact. Boon only communicates via trolling and it is all he understands.
 
have you ever thought that maybe with a patch it will unlock those since the latest patch stopped scorpion from doing his 3rd fatality unless you are in his retro costume? im just saying maybe there not fake files just locked until patched or DLC thats my opinion anyway
 
I hope that's the case bc, as I anticipated, I'm already bored of the fatalities, stage fatalities and babalities.

Gameplay wise it's great. But after seeing everyone's fatality tons of times over, especially in the trainer to gross my friends out lol, the only fatality I look forward to is noobs pull and khans rip since he doesent do that often.
 
Think its meant if as long as you have the Classic costume/fatality unlocked with the DLC code. If its not put in than you can't at all.

Would be cool for Brutalities or something different as DLC, a nice surprise or something.
 
Ill post my opinions of this again.

Despite the fact that things like "Motoro Transformation?" are in the game... everything from the sound leak EXCEPT Brutality has been in the game. Its my opinion that Brutalities were originally going to be part of the final game but werent finished and thus will be released down the line when they are all finished as DLC.
