London Bombings

This is very sad news. So far 33 are dead and hundreds are wounded. If you are wondering who did it, it's been said that a group known as the secret organization of Al-Quida of Europe were responsible and they have a list of countries that are gonna be bombed. This is not the whole list and it may not be in order and also this is just speculation I believe:

USA(September 11)
Spain(Some time in Spring, I forget)
England(July 7)

Countries that are next

Italy
Denmark(Both Denmark and Italy are next appearently)
Canada
Australia
And many more

*Got this from the news*

This was the biggest shocker of the morning when I woke up. How do you respond to this?

I respond with cynicism.

Just wait for the ID card argument to blow up after this. Assuming the worst is over, as terrorist attacks go, it isnt actually that bad. Especially when compared to the height of the IRA campaigns.

Hearts go out to every one in England and especially in London, to the members on trmk from London, we hope you are safe.

Yeah well something tells me were gonna see another attack that is like 9/11 and something tells me it's gonna be here in Canada, probably the CN Tower, the Leaning tower in Italy or even the Eiffel Tower in France.(A country I forgot to put on the list) Frankly their gonna go to a building that's tall and/or important to a nation and/or world. Chances for that are low but from this bombing, anything can happen in the world now.

I think we have one member in England who is Spine Rip. Let's just hope he didn't get in the middle of it.

Shit, in New Brunswick, we have the hugest Oil Facility. The IRVING silos. (I) (R) (V) (I) (N) (G)... and it would reach out to where I am (like 50 miles away)...

I'm scared, excuse me while I shit myself.

Don't forget about Goraka or Angel..they're both in the UK, aren't they?

Yes, it was only 33 people that were killed, but that's 33 more than it should have been. Why would you do that? Fucking innocent people, man.

I'm fine. I know that much, but I was gonna go to uni today to hand some work in. Fortantely due to the corruption of my computers D drive and the resulting loss of my work before I could print it of, I never went. It was also lucky the bombs weren't let off on the route I take to uni as well. But I wouldn't have been able to get home.

My bro was gonna go to see my mother this week, she lives up north, but its luck he didn't. He would have been at Kings Cross station with my nan, where one of the bombs went off. And also if they had been on schedule had they had gone, they would have been there at the moment it went off.

Both me and my bro were lucky today.

This is all in aid of the G8 summit, which is going on right now. According to the guys on the news, several bombs were let off in the underground tunnels, bringing everything to a halt. Some peeps couldn't be got to for an hour at least. They moved in double decker buses to excort the wounded to hospitals. Their linking this to the Madrid bombings last year and Scottland yard on the case.

The bomb on the bus is believed to be a sucidie bomber, but it was properly meant to go off much later then it did. The owner was properly gonna take it to a tube station to let it off like the others and it blew up in his face instead. They haven't anounced how many died on the bus.

And yes, I agree, the IRA bombings were much worst, but this is worst for how it was carried out. The bombs were placed in places were they would disrupte everything. Hopefully while the G8 summit goes on there won't be any more bombs let off... I got to go to london to hand in my uni work I was going to hand in today.

But worst thing is, today was meant to be a day of joy since yesturday we won the O.Bid.

But the bombs that were let off on the trains? The guys who let them off (since no one knows if it was suicide or not) might still be lurking around. At least the bomber on the bus can never ohurt anyone else at least, which is some small good news... If thats worth anything.

my friend was on vacation there and left just the day before, she even used one of the subways daily that was bombed, f*cking terrorists are gonna die

I nearly never pray, and as i realize that i semi-known some English people, one of my few prayers go out to the lord. This is aweful, and we are lucky it was not as many as it might have been. It is very sad that this happened, especially after London won the Olympic bid. It seems too coincidental that it happens on the day of celebration, I mean, this must have been planned before hand and it happens on London's day of celebration? It's almost like 9/11, which is the date the twin towers went up, and it is 911, the American emergency number. Once again, my prayers go to the victims families and to hoping that no more die...

I agree with you to an extent. For the record, my condolences to the families of the victims. My prayers to your healing. I don't think it was as terrible as 9/11.

9/11 was a monumental disaster. THE terrorist attack. Alot more people died in the twin tower attack then in the London bombing. I'm not saying that it excuses it at all, because I'm not even trying to brush upon that feeling, but comparing it to 9/11 is kind of.. an overstatement.

Also, now that I think of it, I don't think Canada is going to be attacked by terrorists. The reason being because we aren't involved in the war. We keep the peace, we give the cookie to the Iraqi, before the Americans blow his head off. (Sorry if I'm sounding racist). I think if anything we would be an ally. Not a terrorist ally, not a friend, just on good terms. Besides, canadians send the food to the people after they've been bombed.

If they were to attack, they'd probably attack somewhere important to US. They'd probably end up attacking somewhere in America again, or Poland (you'll get that if you watch the Daily Show). I think they attacked London because of the George Bush/Tony Blair thing; Al-Qaeda probably was sending a message that Tony Blair better watch it too for being Ol' Georgey's pen pal. Also, I'm not trying to offend the United Kingdom people on this message board, so don't think that I'm doing so.

Al-Qaeda would probably attack something historical like Mt. Rushmore, or the Lincoin Monument. Something Americans wouldn't expect.

Getting back on topic, my condolences to the victim's families. A tragedy.

I wasnt comparing the maginitude of the disaster, but the coincidence of the dates... like good things happened or were supposed to happen on the date of the incident. i know saying the london bombing was as bad as 9/11(no offense) is a super overstatement.

When 9/11 happened my freind died but I wasn't sad and pissed off at the terrorists like every one else who didn't even know some one who died.

9/11 is the emeracgy service number, 7/7 is just cocidence.

The G-8 summit is in the Uk, thats what it was about.

prophet you said something about them maybe attacking something historical like Mt.Rushmore.......im going there on vacation.hmm i wonder what the chances are of them attacking mt.rushmore....
