Let's discuss possible SubZero storylines

i belive noob saibot will comeback as bi-han trying to do his ending in MK9 later dieing from quan-chi and shinnok from trying to take over the NeatherRealm, but i dont think he'll be SZ i think this new SZ is kuai getting revived and having a son cause or cyrax's MK4's ending is him getting un-cyberized by the military ( jax&sonya ) so i think that will happen to Kuai. and still wanting revenge on scorpion for his brothers murder.
 
How is Kuai Liang having a son, or going through a type of Cyrax MK GOLD story any less "retarded" (to paraphrase you), than the Soulnado theory, especially since Kuai-Liang is dead and under Quan Chi's control???

No.
This game takes place after MK9 (aka ALTERNATE MK4, meaning lots of things have changed), and last time I checked in MK4 Kuai-Liang was still alive.
That's not the case at the end of MK9, because Kuai-Liang is dead.
In MK9, Quan Chi directly says to Scorpion that Bi-Han killed his family, not Kuai-Liang.

but still scorpion knew that bi-han killed his family in BOTH timeline's, but still in the original timeline thought it was kuai. ( just an example) what if raiden or someone needed kuai for something and made a deal w/ quan chi for his soul in exchange for ???

No.
Scorpion knew that Bi-Han killed his clan in both timelines, because the Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei are enemy clans, but in MK9 Quan Chi accuses Bi-Han of also killing his family.
In MK9, Scorpion went back into revenge mode when Quan Chi showed him a false image of his family being killed by Bi-Han.

Why would Raiden make a deal with Quan Chi for 1 soul and not all the EarthRealm souls in the NetherRealm, then?
Also, why would Quan Chi agree to such a deal, when him having control of the dead warriors means more warriors on his side when he and Shinnok try to take over EarthRealm?

I really don't mind if this MKX Sub-Zero is a new Sub-Zero or Kuai either, but I just want NRS to provide a good explanation for it.

Shinnok and Quan Chi were set to take over EathrRealm and Outworld with NetherRealm invading both.

"Neither EarthRealm nor Outworld can now withstand the NetherRealm's onslaught." - Shinnok (MK9)

I could only see Kuai-Liang being set free if Quan Chi is somehow killed in MKX, and freed from his control.
I don't see Quan Chi as the type of person who would relinquish the control over the Earth warriors, at least not willingly.
Quan Chi has been known to be pretty conniving.

True, and that's a good point that you bring up.
That said, the 2 Sub-Zero brothers came from a Chinese Cryomancer father and an American mother, and also have a sister who lives in America.

What if MK X Sub-Zero is their nephew, who takes the mantle of "Sub-Zero" in MKX, and the variations are in memory of both of his past uncles?
 
what if this sub zero is their father/grandfather who taught shujinko? he doe's do the ice ball differently and has white eyebrow's but the eyebrow part is kinda like kuai-liang how in deadly alliance he's old
 
Could be, but the thing that's throwing me off is that this Sub-Zero looks like he's in his 30s (mid-30s, at most), IMO.
