Leaderboard Help/explanition PLEEZ

THIS ALL HAS TO DO WITH RANKED LEADERBOARD. alright. heres my thing. So i get up to 1500 in MK1, i switch over to MK2 and i have 1437, so when i go back to play MK1 ranked, i carry my MK2 rating and its dropped to 1437. What gives? Also, there is a hell of a lot of quitters. Mostly players with higher points will always RageQuit b4 you get there points. so i tryed this a couple times since its " a dog eat dog " situation, but the next time i booted up the game my score was reset. So what th F@@@ is going on with these boards? i am very competitive and I must be in the minority but i love MKAK
 
yeah I was wondering myself but thanks to tim statics bulcaca post I got my arcade stick and game late
 
The rating system makes no sense. Everyone quits to preserve their rank and everyone cheats and carries their rank over to the other 2 games, that's how some people have high as hell scores 2000+ in all three games. The ranking system is completely broken and doesn't represent true skill at all. I'm sure this is one of the top things they're working on in the patch.

I hope you are right!! Yes. Ive played the last 3 nites, and EVERY (no joke) guy i beat who was 1600 or higher RageQuit. I mean this takes the whole fun outta even playing ranked. I cant stand developers who do not punish ragequitting or making it so easy to do so without affecting rank. Still dont understand how the leaderboards work. MK2 is my fav and i am so good at, but since MK1 is the Masterleaderboard I work hours to get to 75th in the world, just to have it snatched away by quitters and a finicky lb that scores changes when u switches games.
 
well one good thing about this is that your losses dont show up so when you loose you can always get your rank bettered with no trace of the loss

I can see why you're pissed man... everyone quits on me too I try to just finish the match with a quick punch and no fatality to give them less time to quit but alas they quit anyways. I say quit too if the match was crap. Might as well do as the Romans do until they release the patch, that way its a little less frustrating.

None of these numbers mean anything most of the people with high scores are SHIT at this game you can tell they're just boosting. And they all pick Robot Smoke on UMK3 with the lag it's so damn annoying. Oh well
