Tekken style? Nah I'd rather just have the costumes as they were designed originally. However I wouldn't complain if it was in there, I just wouldn't use it.
 
For some reason I'd rather see create-a-character as DLC and you buy the extras on-line. Because honestly, I don't think much of them. I'm one of those who noticed once you have them other characters become redunctant almost. Who plays as Stryker when they can play as their own character?

@Sub-Zero, I tried to make the character look the part... A dancer for instance, a dancer. But its a lot of fancy stuff. Since SC is mostly aimed at Otaku Japan culture, outfits are over the top simply because over the top outfits that look fancy sell.

WOW! I didnt think of that! But still yeah i like the idea of customizing your character. So yeah i guess it would be like Tekken... hopefully it would mesh well like it did in TEKKEN 6 did!
 
I was also a fan of the tekken 6 customization. I think we all know that we won't be seeing that in MK9 or any character customization for that matter, but if they did add it, the usable pieces would have to fit well in the game for specific characters. What i mean is: Glasses are available for Johnny Cage, but not for Scorpion. Scorpion could have a plethora of ninja masks, but JC would have none.

I don't mind seeing other people's customizations of already created characters, as long as they don't make them look as goofy as possible to show everyone online how 'funny they are'.

This is exactly what i was talking about!
Each character would have there own custimazations that fit them...
Like if your a character that carries or uses a weapon during combos, such as (Kano, Jade, Mileena, Kabal...)
Just like you said JC can have a bunch of Sunglasses that he would buy, or Kano would buy new knives...
its custimazation but individually from that character.
 
That is a very excellent idea.

Also, I suggested this back when MKvDC was announced to have no alt costumes thanks to DC's verification process. Just have a palette swap option. Select different parts of the individual characters costumes, say 2 or 3 colors, and let the player alter them. It's not KAF I'll grant you, but it lets you give the outfit a bit of your personality at least.

Plus that means we can make Human Smoke out of Scorpion if he's not officially in the game. :)
 
So glad KAF is not coming back for this game, it's such a joke IMO, and definitely doesn't fit in well with MK, there are games KAF or KAK or whatever you want to call it work, but MK, no.
