Kreate a character feature will be in mkarmageddon but i think they shouldn;t have add this feature in MKArmageddon becouse this feature is already use in tekken 5 now if they are add this feature in mk armageddon then may be this it's can become mkarmagedon minuess point

it could be a little early in talking about the "bad" points of MK:A... let's wait and see how the implement it. Who knows, it could be one of the most popular additions to the MK games.

MKRayden, you got it all wrong. Tekken 5 has the ability to customize your character's costumes by adding accessories (helmets, sword holsters, etc.) and changing the 3 main colors.

However, the Kreate-A-Kharacter mode in Armageddon will allow you to create your own fighter from scratch. As in, you start out with a naked male/female template, and you can adjust its face properties, the outfit, accessories, colors, name/details, as well as the fighting styles/moves/stances as well. This should work just like a wrestling game (Smackdown! vs Raw 2006 is a good example).

I hope the kreate a character is as diverse as (for wrestling fans) WWE Smackdown series. I checked a couple of screenshots, and thank-god you are allowed to choose attacks for each button as opposed to having a set move-list that some games do

The only thing bothering me...is that in WWE, there are no such things as combos...how the hell are you supposed to make combos, if the moves just dont fit? For example if u have the Triangle, X, Square, and Circle buttons as hard hitting attacks, then you cant necessarily add combos...so its just weird...also I was thinking...like NBA Street Volume 3...the fatalities will probably get repetitive, because I doubt they will put too much emphasis on the "customizable fatalities"

Think SC3 Topic Creator. Tekken 5 didn't have Create/Kreate-A-Character/Kharacter.(Customize) *Only read the first post sorry guys*

*To those who didn't like SC3 then don't comment on it please*

To me IMO it looks great. For once I can make scorpion how I want him to look, the classic looks back. ETC.

I think it will be a great addition. How can you judge something if you haven't even been able to use it/only see/hear about it? You CAN'T!

Don't judge a book by its cover is what I say. *Please people how does it at all look crappy so far? It doesn't you people and some of those ideas about how MK should/shouldn't be run LOL*

my guess is you will be able to create a character, and moveset, but you wont be able to have as many moves as the regular people. i've seen that in a game before. don't know where, but somewhere.
everyone is probably just gonna use rain anyway. lol
if you could go in-depth with this moveset thing, i would make like a 20 hit combo you could do real easy

holy shit, i could've sworn my parakeet just said my name.

I don't think Rain is going to be as powerful as he once was.

(they will tone him down just like Kabal)

It said there will be a lot of moves to choose from. (So there may be as many moves as a normal character to be able to use at once.)

Plus you could always create the "ultimate ninja"

With all fo the most abused moves of all time.

that would be sweet. having the spear, the ice, the telekinetic slam, and for the fatality you fry them with thunder and eat them

just a thought...

The most abused moves of all time are...

Kabal's "Running Spin"

Sub-Zero's "Ice Ball"

Scorpion's/Smoke's *human form* : Spear, and Teleport attack

Ermac's: "Telekenetic slam" *SP*

Rain's : "Rain Ball"

Rayden's/Raiden's "Torpedo shoot" *the one where he yells and flys at *

Sektor's/Smoke's "Tele-Uppercut"

Cyrax's "Acid Net"

Retile's "Force Ball"

Noob Saibot's "Dark Orb" (MK:T)

Nightwolf's/Shao Khan's "Charge Rush"

Liu-Kang's "Straight Kick" The one where he strikes from any distance on the screen.

Baraka's Mutant Blade's attack

*Many Many more*

Such as Kano's Cannon-Ball.

That fatality sounds interesting...

Well me and Charles (GT) figured it out...well we got some ideas

This is how the move set will hopefully work:

If you really think about it, in Mortal Kombat Deception, combos are basically regular moves chained together and sped up (please correct me if I am wrong). Now what I think is that some styles will obviously have less combos and more one-hit moves. For example, Pi Gua style. Okay, so you might be wondering...how will this work? Pi Gua has small combos, what if some cheap-ass decides to make a 20-hit combo out of it? Well that is simple...what I hope Midway will do is that, the styles that have stronger, yet slower hits, will be only allowed maybe a 4-hit combo tops. However, something like Hapkido, does not have that many strong pop-up / one-hit attacks, and has a lot of combos...what Midway will then interperet for this style is to let them have a 9-hit combo

You might also be wondering, but how are you supposed to do a combo with certain Pi Gua attacks? Well, that is simple. In a game engine, one can speed up the attack, as to allow you to do a chain combo, before your opponent goes flying

Well, this is what I think will happen, but Im obviously not sure...If you guys have any other suggestions just post em :)

To sum it up...

- Combos in DA, Deception, and Armageddon are basically just the normal moves' animations played after one another, blended in nicely and slightly sped up. Hence making the process smooth.

- Now in Armageddon, we can choose what fighting styles our kustom kharacter can use. [This is all through speculation] There will be a list of custom fighting styles to choose from, you pick the one that you want. Then choosing a particular fighting style will lead you to pages and pages of different moves for that fighting style.

- And to create combos with your selected fighting style. You have an empty combo string that you could fill out by assigning different moves on it. However I think there will be prerequisites to certain moves.

- However you cannot go nuts with your combo like a 97% string. Your empty combo string probably only has like, 10 slots. And you can probably only fit like 4 moves on there. For example.

Empty string: [*] [*] [*] [*] [*] [*] [*] [*] [*] [*]
Custom string: [LK]-[LK]-[HP] [L1] [Down]-[Away]-[LP] [Down]-[HP]

First move: [LK]-[LK]-[HP]
Second move: [L1]
Third move: [Down]-[Away]-[LP]
Fourth move: [Down]-[HP]

As you can see, you're given a 10 string combo template, but you can only fit four moves in it if the individual moves are complicated and hard-hitting. To balance out between power and complexity.

- And as for fighting styles like Pig Gua, your best move will probably only be like [Down]-[HP] or something, and it could take away an insane amount of health and/or even knock the opponent down. This could be balanced by having the powerful fighting styles given only a 5-6 empty combo string to work with.

I hope this clears it up a little, but remember this is all thought through speculation. And it is a pretty neat idea.

I'm still hoping we don't see 1,000+ clones of the same character. Thats my fear. A lot of people with very simulair moves.

I'm also hoping that the main chracters will get used not just the create a character. Otherwise there is little point in being able to play the rest other then comparisons. :?

Kreate a Kharacter from a naked template, eh? I wonder if you could keep them naked...lmao

I'm thinking with teh ammount of customizability it would be difficult for people to really make the exact same, or very similar characters. Your combo creation system is good RavenGT. As for the nakedness, Midway couldn't be THAT perverted *cough*Topless Milleena pic from MK:DA*cough*. Just so you know it looks like they have a leaf covering their "privates".
