Klassic Kostume Thread (With Renders)

Hmmm... Toys R Us or Gamestop? I'm having a hard time deciding. I want that Kitana outfit so badly but I don't know if Kitana will be very good to play as in the next MK.
 
The Mileena retro is tempting, but I think I'll stick with the reptile skin...

can't play with him the way he looks now >-<
 
Out of those I'd like Reptile the most because I don't like how he looks in MK9. But I just hope his fighting stance changes too, that stance would look stupid with his retro outfit. I'll be getting Sub-Zero though, because I don't want to deal with shipping and all of that stuff. I'd much rather pick it up from a store.
 
I'm surprised Toys R us is doing an exclusive considering their store caters to mostly kids and MK is rated M. Don't get me wrong, I go there pretty often myself, but still, i find it odd... granted kids will probably get the game regardless of the rating...lol

Really? I think his stance fits him well in this game, though nothing beats his UMK3 stance. Nothing.
 
^ agreed...him snarling in his intro would look retarded with his retro gear...

And yes...Reptiles MK3 stance is ridiculously epic...
 
My question about the retro costume n fatality is, will we be only able to use that fatality dwnload with that one costume or will we be able to use it with any attire we choose?

Good question, but my guess is that you can use the fatality with the character no matter what costume you're wearing.

EDIT: On second thought, you can use the classic fatalities with any costume. I recall seeing a video of Sub-Zero's spine rip with his MK9 outfit on. So there's your answer.

True because when I was a kid, I think I got MK there. If not there, it was Sears.

Like I stated in the other thread. I really hope that twitter quote means the retro costumes are allready in the game and the pre-order just unlocks the krypt box early.

I'm 99% sure this is how it is. Simply because there is a mission in the challenge tower that features the retro outfits of both Sub-Zero and Scorpion, so they are already on the disc.
 
Im thinking about sub-zero scorpion and reptile klassic costume cause it takes me to the first mortal kombat and my childhood years. God i wanna it now so badly
