I would welcome both of those suggestons to be true, but don't you guys think it's a little weird that they don't pacage the klassic Sub and Scorp or Kitana and Mileena together?

Regardless the free klassic skins haven't been disapointing so far

I wouldn't find it totally weird for the latter because that would make it an unofficial all Edenian pack with Rain and MK2 skins for Kitana and Jade.

Well, it's official. The Compatibility Pack #3 trailer comes out Saturday according to Rigo on Twitter.

And who knows.... based on when the trailer for Noob and Smoke came out, it may be at midnight (Central time) that it gets released. So really, it could very well be tomorrow night we know!

that's a pretty good point man. And I guess it's not totally farfetched that they would use Jade rather than Mileena, considering she already has 4 costumes.

It wont be classic girls, if someone gets a second classic first, it would be the ninjas because they are more popular. But I think this classics are for a character that doesnt have a one already.

I get what your saying man, because i would honestly rather get more klassics for the ninjas myself. However the MK2 klassic for the chick characters is something a lot of people have been asking for. I wouldn't mind it (that is if Mileena got it too)

If 'Blueberry & Lime' does indeed hint at colours, then I can only see it translating to costume DLC for: SZ + Reptile, Johnny + Sonya, or Kitana + Jade.

This has nothing to do with me. He is in fact, Ed Boon's favorite character. He's on the cover of the game. He is the Netherrealm Studios Logo.

Who was among the first vignettes released? Who was among the first retros released? Scorpion.

Did Noob and Smoke have MK1 retros? No. That's why they were before Scorpion in MK2 costumes.

So out of all the characters that have retros already, it would be safe to assume that Scorpion would be first. They wouldn't put Reptile in his place.

You mentioned that as a reason for him being the first to get MK2 costume because of all that when as a matter of fact, he can't be the first one anymore. Simple stuff...

So, it can surely be more MK2 costumes, and not be Scorpion at all.

A lot of people are saying it will be Stryker & Sonya because of that tweet, but I would think they would make skins for more popular characters so more people would download the com pack. I mean there's tons of people who still haven't downloaded the Kenshi/Smoke/Noob pack. Saturday will be interesting...

This is such a good point! I seriously hope it's MK2 Kitana and Jade. I use them both! And besides, those suits are classics! Everyone knows MK2 was the BEST MK game ever!! It also introduced the female ninjas.

Bah. The MK3 outfits were so much better. And I thought MK2 was kinda eh... But I didn't play that one as much as 1 and 3/trilogy.

Here's my theory:

The pack that comes with Rain is going to be MK2 Jade and Kitana. My reasoning is because first of all, they are way more popular than Sonya/Jax/etc. Second, it would be an all Edenian pack AND those two are related characters (like Cyrax/Sektor, Noob/Smoke). Third, as someone else mentioned, its better that Jade gets another costume instead of Mileena that way K, J, and M all have 4 costumes. And fourth, they might be adding in Klassic fatalities (i.e. Kiss of Death) based on the exploding body in Rain's leaked fatality. Plus this would be the most definitive "Blueberry/Lime" combination.

Then, I think they will save what many will call the best for last, and release a MK3 (unmasked) alt. for CSZ as well as a cyber alt. costume for Smoke with the 4th DLC character.

That's my theory on how it all goes down. As for the 4th DLC, I hope it's Frost! (unless of course I am wrong and there's a chance for DLC Cyber-Smoke!!). I REALLY hope it isnt Tanya. You would be getting basically the two DLC's ina row with the exact same story almost (Edenian... beetrayal... evil). I know it would be the "3rd Ice character" but let's face it, CSZ isnt all too original (and combo of Sub-zero and Cyrax's move with Kung Lao's dive kick). By adding Frost, we can get a whole new set of ice moves and she could have some really sick fatalities.

I am kind of hoping it is given to characters who don't have classics. Personally I would love if Sonya was the lime, I like her classic and hate her outfits in MK9. would be reason to play her. lol

If it is for Kitana and Jade, I hope(granted I am sure they won't) do the costume for Mileena and Scarlet. I know Mileena already has like 4 costumes, but if they are gonna make the classic skin might as well palette swap it for Mileena. I know for Scarlet that is asking for the moon but it would be neat I think, and again the costume is already made lol Palette swap!! lol

I just want Saturday to get here so we will know lol. I will most likely be happy regardless of outcome, but still wanna know lol

Actually, in all likelihood, shave a day off of that. After Noob/Smoke's trailer release, I'm fully expecting it to be released shortly after midnight (central time). So in other words, this time "tomorrow."

Since this thread is almost completely just guesses about the colours Blue and Green, and even more people whining about what random things that they want, here is my theory....

This pack will not have any new costumes! :O
Instead, Kitana and Jade will get a Classic Fatality each.
Kitana will obviously have her Kiss of Death (now that we've seen Rain has similar animations,) and maybe Jade will get her 'stick-n-shake' fatality.

EDIT: although i do think your right in that they'll be klassic MK2 Jade/Kitana WITH klassic fatalities like Scorpion, Subby, and Reptile
