CSZ cannot have a robot MK3 Klassic Costume because there isn't a Cyber Sub-Zero in that game. Reptile can't have a robot MK3 Klassic Costume either for the same reason. And this is the same reason why Noob and Smoke doesn't have MK1 Klassic Costumes. It's VERY CLEAR that they're only giving Klassic Costumes for those who actually had them in past games.

Ermac was a rummored glitch character in MK1, and that's why he has a MK1 Klassic Costume. He wasn't a rummored glitch character in MK2, so he'll probably not have a MK2 Klassic Costume.

Skarlet was a rummored glitch character in MK2, so if she get's a Klassic Costume, it'll probably be MK2, not MK3.

Sub-Zero, in this game, can be both the younger brother (Primary Costume) or the older brother (Alternate Costume), and he got MK1 Klassic Costume.

Having all that in mind, Cyber Sub-Zero is ONLY the younger Sub-Zero, so since he can't get a robot MK3 Klassic Costume (because that don't exist in MK3 and it was never a rummored character), he could only get a HUMAN Klassic Costume, which are MK2 or Unmasked MK3. It's either that, or NONE Klassic Costume for him!

Therefore, it would be cool and interesting for some people (myself included) that Regular Sub-Zero gets MK2 Klassic Costume and Cyber Sub-Zero get MK3 Unmasked Sub-Zero Klassic Costume. This way, we could have both brothers in human form and they would look completely different from each other, and also play completely different from each other.

And if they do that and keep the name, many wouldn't be bothered by that since the game have many other worse issues.

So, bottom line, it is NOT a dumb idea. Some people just aren't open minded and other just don't like it.

You edited your post before it said that if someone else posted your theory it was stolen from you and I was simply saying that you are most likely not the first person to think of that.

yes i know i wrote that i deleted it but in ur first post it said that i was seaying next month was gonna be mustard or ketchup

My thoughts exactly. I think alot of people are gonna be eating their words if they give CSZ the MK3 sub skin. In the original timeline Kuai Lang wasnt turned cyber so I think theyll honor the original time line by giving CSZ the MK3 sub skin. So as far as im concerned you got it down pat my friend!

So far they have only given us palette swapped ninjas. I dont see them giving us jax, sonya, stryker, etc. for free. They will most likely give us more swapped ninjas. even the clue is two colors. blueberry and lime. This shows the thinking IMO, colors = palete swapped ninjas IMO. Im pretty sure the leaked text file listed two sets of alternates for the female ninjas. MKII and UMK3 alt. Mileena had the extra alt. for beating challenge tower. I think. Can someone check this out and see whats listed.

So for the record my guess is MKII Kitana and MKII Jade = blueberry & lime

BTW Goro had his ending listed where he turns into Drathon in that file as well. So i still bet you can play as him at some point.

MK2 Johnny? We basically got that already.

It's either MK1 Sonya and Johnny or MK3 Sonya and Jax. Whatever Sonya it is will determine the other. Either that this clue has nothing to do with the colors of the costumes and they are just messing with us.

I'm leaning towards MK3 Sonya and Jax. Makes the most sense.

For the record that makes sense, but I would rather they not release his MK3 skin at all.

YES, he needs an Alt, and a Classic. But he needs a Robotic alt, and Cyrax/Sektor Classic. Not a human version.

Besides, we already have human SZ, why 2 humans SZs? and they are not even bi han and kuai liang like in trilogy, they are the same dude. Sektor and Cyrax is different because NRS was lazy to make new characters so they adpated the moves to make the human versions just alts, besides why would NRS take the work and spend money tweaking CSZ to make his moves match with a human alt when they can just simply throw the costume for human SZ without any tweaking.
So if they realese a human alt for CSZ, then they will realese a cyborg alt for human SZ? and then a cyborg alt for smoke? and after that a new character: cyber smoke with a human alt too?...

I understand both of you and you have right in many parts but if you see and from the Magna examples there and many reasons to be a cyber alt, for me the main reason is that Human Sub has already 3 good skins to choose him as a player but Cyber Sub only one.

And seriously - where was it mentioned that blueberry & lime refers to classic costumes, not some new chars? Boon has compared them to grape (Rain) who is new character.

No matter what I know I will be happy with the decision. I do hope its Sonya for Lime. Blueberry I don't care lol

I wouldn't mind if they did ninjas but would be a bit disappointed that a ninja would have MK1 costume AND MK2/MK3 while another character wouldn't have ANY classic costume. Would feel really unbalanced so that is why I personally feel they wouldn't do more ninjas but who is to say.

I just hope down the road if they do enough classic costumes, allow them to be used in Story mode. Would give that a more nostalgic feeling. If they did MK2 and MK3 costumes, could have the costumes reflect each game accordingly. Just my hope LOL
