They don't need classics, just give us an alternate costume of some sort. We already know what Skarlet's looks like (better), and Rain's could be similar to his MK:A look.

I really want MK2 female ninja costumes since I heard about the files in the leak so I'm hoping it's MK2 Kitana and Jade with Mileena and hopefully Skarlet at a later date

MK3 Sonya would be nice too though

Lime (Green) => Cyber-Reptile. He shows up at the Tower and everybody loves the cyborgs.
Blueberry (Blue, Purple, etc...) => MK3, UMK3 Cyber-Smoke which is the most requested character alongside Rain.

Smoke just got a classic outfit which was his MK2 outfit.

yup Cyber Smoke alt would be cool but he would need another moveset also (telepunch, bomb & chest spear/trident) so I fear that will not be it.

If Cyber Smoke is being added, it would be as a new character I believe. But I would rather have Tanya, Reiko, Fujin and a few others before I would want Cyber Smoke back. Human Smoke is too badass to top.

They could not have been more vague. Don't count on getting classic costumes for characters we've already gotten them for.

Why the hell would they give Stryker a retro costume...when he already wears practically the same damn thing he wore in MK3?

Stryker and Kabal are the last people I would expect DLC costumes for. I actually think Blueberry and Lime refers to more ninjas. Yes, they're getting on my nerves, but they do rake in dough.

Let's think of the benefits of making some costumes.

If they were to make an MK3 Kabal, how many times could they sell it? Once.

If they make a UMK3 ninja costume, how many times could they sell it? About 7 times.

So while everybody might not like the repetitive ninja costumes, they do make more money and are more worth the time.


So I think Blueberry and Lime refers to either UMK3 Sub-Zero and UMK3 Reptile, or MK2 Kitana and MK2 Jade.

Reptile and Subby already have a classic costume AND, since people are already forgetting this, AND a classic fatality. Why couldn't the rest of the classics get two in respect to their fatality/costume?

Mileena has already one more costume than the rest of the characters.

Besides the best ninja costumes (at least the most beloved ones) are the UMK3 ones and the ninjas have MK1 and some MK2, but the girls have the best classic costume they had their MK3 ones, cause the MK2 ones are ridiculous, they look like grandma's swimming suit.

You may have a point. But at least the MK2 female outfits don't have a criss-crossed laced split at their chest, conveniently revealing their cleavage.

Everyyybody's pretty set on their opinions, but if I had to guess, I think the characters would be Sonya and Stryker.
These are CLASSIC (or klassic :P) costumes! I think Cyber Reptile or Subzero is definitely out of the picture. Kitana and Jade have already gotten classic costumes, as well as Sub-Zero and Reptile. It wouldn't really make sense to release more costumes for JUST those characters and not all the other ninjas like they did with the first pack. I think Sonya would make a really good choice to release for a classic costume because of how different she is now/has been since MK3. Her old costume would be great and nostalgic for players. I also think it has a good chance of being Stryker, because Jax had purple and black pants in MK3...and red and black pants in MK2... seriously, WTF, he has never had blue pants.

Stryker would make an ideal candidate consider how much he has changed since MK3. When comparing MK9 Stryker to MK3 Stryker, there is a huuuuuuuge difference! I personally would love to have the old Stryker with the blue shirt and backwards cap. I don't know about you all, but that would be bad ass! And when you think about it, these two would come in a pack (Sonya and Stryker) because of how they are changing the looks of two very refined, military/uniform, characters that have lost their early 90's look. I mean, seriously who wears a headband with a ponytail, or a backwards cap anymore?

So that's my input. Short version vvvv:

Stryker Classic= Make him fatter. Spill milk on his shirt. Let his hair grow. Turn his hat backwards ;)

I would laugh if Lime isn't neither Sonya nor Jade, but my bet is Sonya and Cage. If a Stryker Klassic Costume is released, it should come with either Kabal or Jax.
