I miss his optic blasts of his cyber eye. It should've been added to one of his special moves or fatalities. Maybe he'll come back.

Yeah, I miss his Laser Eye special as well
Overall though, Kano's alright to me but I don't like him as much as other OGs in MK

Why have 8 not seen this thread before. Kano is my all time favorite MK character.
He is a bad ass that has cowardice tendacies. But he is smart. Picking his battles and surviving...bc that what he does. Survive!
His eye laser was really missed in MK9. But his look was a nice revamp of his MK3 attire.
I always imagined him as a Mob Boss type character. U know, dress shirt n pants, tie, vest, sleeves rolled up. With his knives attached to the back of his belt.
Anyway Kano is my favorite character and i hope he makes a return to MKX.

Just more thoughts on Kano an what I would like for him to have as far a Special Moves, Variations & Etc...
From what was leaked i rather enjoy this new look. he looks like a Mercenary. I would personally like to see him add a few more Cybernetic parts to him self such as a Cyborg Forearm & Hand & his bandoleer actually have some sort of function. Also i adding to him would be fused with a combo of Cyber upgrades fused with Outworld magic.
Special Moves:
Kanoball
Knife Toss
Eye Laser
Choke/Air Throw
Variations:
Knife Fighter- This variation gives Kano the ability to use different types of knife attacks. While it can be used offensively, it is a defensive style meant to counter Rush-down opponents (Knife Toss, Knife Throw, Blade Swipe & Blade spin)
Mad Man- This variation lets Kano make use of his Kanoball technique able to keep Zone and keep opponent at bay. (Kano Ball, Up Ball, Down Ball, Psycho Ball & Knife ball [New Move])
Wrestler- This variation put Kano on the Offensive using attacks combining Combos, Grappling & Cybernetic Upgrades. (MK9 Kombo Attacks, Few wrestling Moves & use of Eye Laser in 2 forms- Beam & Blast)

You should also include multiple eye lazer specials to one of your variations as a tool for zoning.

I didn't really mind his Intro animation, i just wish they made him say something instead of just grunt. Made me feel like they didn't put alot of effort into it. But i would have head Kano say something like, "C'mer and let me put a big smile on your face" as he motions the slit throat or "You fight fair, thats no fun, me on the other hand, im tons of fun" indicating he's a dirty player

I hope in MKX they really put intro for each battle depending on the character. And no thunder take you, please.
And they really could make Kano less animal when comunicating, I mean, he can still be brutal talking and not grunting. I agree that his accent fits very well!

No dislikes here but I've never been a huge fan of his at all. People say Baraka is a lackey because he's always serving someone. Reptile too. And yet it's the same with Kano.
And unlike Baraka or Reptile, I can't see that status ever changing. Or have potential to change.
If people are sick of the same characters being in the game series, then Kano would be at the top of who I would not miss if he's excluded for this very reason.
Yet despite all that, he is a survivor and a part of the oldest and longest serving MK rivalry of all. Still.
