Kahn Ko-op (BEWARE!)

You know, I thought like most ppl, that having two ppl fighting the same boss would make the situation a little more managable...by god was I wrong. Kahn is twice as hard as he ever was in single player! And it took me 5 tries to beat that one! Am I doomed to never beat ko-op mode? I certainly think so...
 
I noticed that too, in Ko-Op the three girls were much harder. The CPU is definately harder to acomodate it. Haven't got to the end in Ko-Op yet, that's this weekend.
 
Well that's interesting. I've only played the game in ko-op with my buddy since I've gotten it, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I guess that's nice to know. Christ, we tried for 3 hours and still couldn't beat that final battle. We got to where we could lay waste to Shang Tsung and Kintaro without much problem, but Kahn always clobbers us when he starts fighting with his hammer.

well someone else will tell you use your head,but i will tell you use the thing that is above your head...your hat...just use the hat alot while kang beat khan..this is how me and my brother beated him(i can't beleive that i am givving an edvice to deathcore)i hope it works with you guys

I appreciate the input, but it wasn't attacking Kahn we had a problem with, it was both of us successfully dodging his spinning hammer (one of us would almost always get caught while the other escaped injury) that troubled us. Nonetheless, I haven't tried with my friend in a couple days, but now that I've been able to beat him in single player mode, I should have a bit better luck with my friend the next time we give it a shot. Thanks anyway.
 
Yea, he's easiER in single player, but not EASY. I died 4 times with Liu Kang before I killed him and 7 times with Scorpion...god I hate MK bosses...so unfair really. Sometimes I think Midway is allergic to people actually beating their games...
 
I wouldn't say all of them were difficult... I mean Shinnok in MK4 was a push over.

And besides if the bosses were not a challenge then what would be the point of them being a boss (shinnok I'm looking at you).
 
That's just the way life is with bosses. However, I haven't met harder bosses than the bosses in Ninja Gaiden. That game is just freakn tough.

I agree, Ive never seen bosses harder than that. Of course I thought the MK:SM bosses were pretty easy, I died on Shao Kahn twice and Ermac once and no other boss beat me.
 
Jesus, has anyone beaten Kahn in ko-op with Scorpion and Sub-Zero? All the tactics my friend and I had for beating him before counted very heavily on our projectiles, especially Liu Kang's, but Scorpion and Sub-Zero's projectiles are so weak and impractical comparatively. We didn't try that many times, but we didn't even get close to a victory anwyay.

This sucks pretty bad considering the rest of the game was cake with these guys.
 
the only trouble I had was my game freezing before Kahn </3 all three were easy as hell and I killed them first try, but ermac is HARD! ugh
 
I have a great tactic with Scorpion fighting against everyone (but you have to be careful using it against Shao Kahn). Make sure you have the fire teleport, simply run up to the enemy and teleport, it does a lot of damage. It doesn't look like it works on Kahn (he doesn't do a hurt animation), but it works well.

Scorps 3rd level spear works well against everyone else but Kahn.
 
I use Scorp's lvl 3 spear dance agaist everybody (even hammer-kahn) except for kahn's first form, his timing is too random to use it.
 
Yeah the only problem with using Scorp TP on Kahn is after you do it and jump away, 1 every 2 times he does his knee charge on you. I just kept using Kintaros head and the spear move on him.

that happened to me too...after i beat kintaro my game froze while loading the next video.
 
i found it easier in ko-op..i couulddnt beat shao kahn in single player..i must have treid like 50 times..but once me n bro did ko-op, we beat him in 2 tries so i think ko-op is easier
