I always thought Kabal was one of the more cheeseball adds to the roster for MK3, but it looks like they've finally gotten the design right on him.

I have to admit, he looks extremely fun to play with.
 
Kabal was my main in MK3 and UMK3, and it looks like he will be again judging from this video. I love how 2 ground saws come up in his EX ground saw move. Looks like you might be able to catch someone with the 2nd one in case they jump over the first one.

And the fatality they showed for him was nice. At first, I was like "Eh, just another 'cut them in half' fatality", but then he shows you that their head is on his hooksword and then I was like "HOLY SHIT DID HE JUST DO TWO THINGS IN ONE CLEAN MOTION?"

And I really like his new look. It seems like that NRS was finally able to have him look like what they wanted him to look like ever since he debuted.

Going by process of elimination maybe, but..

Nowhere in the leaked file are there actual descriptions of each arena, and from what we've gathered about the flesh pits from Mileena's fp concept and backstory, that level has an organic look and the bodies would be gruesomely mutilated or completely mangled. This arena looks more like a place where a battle has occured and the ground has a terra firma look to it. By all means it could indeed be the flesh pits but I wouldn't stamp it case closed just yet. Could be a new level even or something else unexpected.

EDIT: Are we sure that isn't something we've maybe already seen, just with different lighting? I mean has there been a complete rundown already of all the footage we have?

The last photo is just Wastelands... the same dead bodies... even there's an impaled one in that picture...


nothing new in that screen.
 
hey guys, i really dont wanna see any more fatalities, i dont even wnat to know what happens, but theyre getting so hard to dodge!

please could you tell me at what time in the video they start talking about the fatality and at what time they finish so i can avoid it and still see the rest of the video,

In one of the large Spoilers from the Demo, It had it where every arena was made, and Lupinko Described a place where People get Disected...So...Looks like it would really be the Flesh pits, If not, It's A DLC Arena...
