Just fought Secret Reptile

Mh.. at MK2 the Stage before the "?" was always The Portal right? So maybe we have to do it there. But the only Stage u look like the old one is without a Portal :/
 
I tried the Living Forest on Expert difficulty, though Smoke's difficulty is the same which leads to the fact that they have their own difficulty so... myth busted? :D Even the reward is the same if it helps.
 
Oh well Guess we will have to wait until the MK9 guide book drops to know if the Klassics are unlockable.

Lucky I pre ordered this bad boy.

I came up with it by fighting them, the ladder gets increasingly harder as you go up, starting on beginner with opponents who stand still for a large amount of time up to opponents who block constantly at stage 7.

However no matter where in the ladder you encounter these hidden characters their always the same difficulty its like their the same difficulty as shao kahn on expert (at least noob is, reptile seems to be a bit weaker).

Iv played against them on normal easy and beginner and no matter where in the ladder or what difficulty their always the same.

I doubt it will even tell you, a guy got a hold of one and it didn't even tell you how to do these hidden kombatant fights we are figuring out.
 
So you havnt fought them on expert? Reason I say this is cuz double flawless will be almost impossible on expert. So it would atleast deserve a reward for doing. Not the fight with the secret guys

no, the stage before "?" is not portal, could be any stage. only the stage after "?" is fixed (kahn's arena)
the fight before "?" is for fight against jade (any stage onluy using LK) and portal is for fight against smoke (toasty+down+start)
 
I personally dont think the Klassic outfits are unlockable, just via codes or marketplace, but it doesnt kill to try because the game has lot of hidden content so...

Thanks for finally coming around. The diff of the secret character could be fixed but doing the req for getting them to appear on expert would be tough right?

^think was boon tweeted in his tweeter that they where unlockable in the game. I'll try and dig up the tweet.
 
Actually I only tried Expert difficulty on living forest because it is the most simple to make Smoke appear, you just have to press down+back. About the other ones, the requirements are damn tough...2 perfect rounds on expert is above me.

Not being funny, but can we drop this expert thing, its established the ai of the hidden characters dosnt change depending on difficulty, and let me tell you if it did and you where expected to get double flawless on anyone with expert difficulty let alone a scaled version of a hidden kombatant this wouldnt just be hard it would be impossible, their about as hard as shao kahn was on expert not to mention each has either buffed speed or health or damage or a kombo of them.

The chance its actually going to be related to doing anything on any difficulty is VERY slim like 0.05% its simply too difficult.

And before people go off on "ohh but their ment to be hard and their ment to be secret and a challenge thats how mortal kombat has always been" Theirs a difference between a challenge and impossible and double flawless on one of these guys is pretty close to that, double flawless on a ladder oppopnent on expert is laughable, wait till you see how much they spam specials and pull of insane hit kombos and above reaction time moves. I think others who have the game will agree with me its just not something thats viable to attempt.

I played for around 200+ mins trying to defeat shao kahn on expert and i quit in the end its INSANE.
