Just fought Secret Reptile

Is there any chance Cyrax being buried in Jade's Desert has something to do with it. I feel it's being overlooked..

This is just a thought and I want to share it, flame away if needed.

Get Jade's Desert Stage up, Select A New Fighter until Cyrax appears in the background, win with only A button or B button depending on which you think is more the 'Low Kick' button. Climb the Ladder until you get to Goro's Lair and hope for the best. If this fails, maybe try some varibles of it before dismissing it.

Also Dan Forden saying TOASTY! all the freaking time keeps making me think it does something but I can't get it to to Sh!te..

I'm close to mastering Cage, hoping for more than a achievement when I get there, only 19 Fatalies left.

We thought about Cyrax but we think he has nothing to do with Jade. I've did everything you said before but no Jade.

The only files that mention something about secret jade are the throneroom and goro's lair files.

But thanks for your input mate :)
 
Tried already with Jade's Desert and Cyrax in there with low kicks only. The thing is the guys who found her didn't play with that method one button only..
 
Unless it's a random chance FROM double flawless victorying and performing a fatality on him, that is false.

To reach Jade, the player would fight a one-player game on the match just before the "?" on the map of the mountain. If the player won at least one round of the match using only the Low Kick button (no punches, High, or Block button presses), they would immediately be warped to Goro's Lair to fight Jade. I have been lurking around the forums for quite a while now.. but just decided to sign up since this topic seems so interesting.
Great work so far BloodyJesus and the others. Even thinking about the amount of work you put in makes me tired.
Anyways,
I was thinking.. is it possible that you have to fight Classic Smoke on the same ladder and then reach Shang Tsung and double Flawless + Fatality ??
 
yeah, but the problem is, that the old MK 2 trick to fight Jade, seems to be not related with Jade's Secret Fight in MK 2011 ..... it's something new, that involves doing double flawless victory and fatality in Shang Tsung's Throne Room, but, something else is missing across the way ..... some detail is lacking, BloodyJesus pratically tried everything already, all kind of combinations , and nothing ..... so, some random factor responsible to trigger the fight, some trick, should be discovered, to give us 100% security how to do this fight to happen.
 
Maybe having classic Smoke trick done in the same ladder, in a previous fight, and so, since you have to fight Shang later anyway, maybe could be the trick ..... winning the match in Living Forest against Classic Smoke, and in the same ladder, doing double flawless victory and Fatality in Shang Tsung.

Seems feasible to be done.
 
Those that have unlocked Classic Jade so far haven't said anything about a Classic Smoke fight, so I doubt it's anything to do with that.
 
the word "Smoke" is in that file, the Shang's room file decrypted ..... maybe, normal white hair Smoke should be the 7th fight in the ladder, mandatory, previous one before the 8th fight, you win against him (Smoke), and next, against Shang, win the fight with double flawless and fatality ?
 
Did anyone try beating shang tsung or the battle before without the use of the special bar or any special moves ex....without using any projectile moves or teleports that require button combinations?

The reason why i thought smoke was a key in this puzzle was because, ItzDilly, when he posted about his fight with jade also mentioned smoke..

When you manage to make it to her, right after you beat shang tsung it goes straight to the loading time for goro's lair instead of the ladder.



Smoke doesn't appear on the ladder... You have to access him via the previously found unlock.
