Jax's arms

I've always agreed with the mentality that the cybernetic arms have actually replaced his flesh and blood arms this time. I feel there are two ways we can look at this.

1. Jax's arms are completely replaced and the bones we're seeing during X-Rays are temporary and will be substituted by cybernetic tendons and metal skeletal structure in the final game.

or

2. NetherRealm is just keeping things easier on themselves and just using the standard human male skeleton for Jax and to explain why you see bones they could argue that everything but his bones were replaced and that would explain both why you see the tendons and skin replaced but the bones are not.

My theory is that NRS didn't want to create specific artificial bones for the cyber-enhanced characters because breaking a piece of metal wouldn't look as brutal as breaking a human bone, but this leads to some inconsistencies like having cyborgs who just wear a high tech suit while retaining most of their original bodies including muscles, organs and bones and some random wires thrown in.
IMO with a little extra work everything would still look brutal but retaining some consistency.

Nice theory. If this is true, that will make me mad>:l

Ok ok ok. Wait.. So why do you NOT think it's an exoskeletal arm structure? That's what makes the most sense imo. It just seems stupid to think that they'd rip someone's entire arms off to put metal everything There. there wouldn't be any support, and they'd be heavy as all hell despite how strong jax is. I'm sure they left the bones and quite a bit of muscle during the procedure for a base then layered materials , wire, hardware, and finally metal/titanium or whatever.

Im guessing its to keep the x-rays lookin painful

Now that I think about it, I'd go with this.
X-Rays would look 10X more painful if it was done on a human, rather than a machine.

After all, even the cyborgs have skeletons and organs.
In the first reveal video of Jax, he did an X-Ray on Cyrax.

Maybe NRS is thinking the same thing for Jax.
By keeping Jax's ENTIRE skeleton (including arms), X-Rays that involve arm bones breaking can also be done on Jax.

That's what I think: surgically emplanted exoskeletons, a not reversible process.

What is a exoskelton!!

Hahaha I told you already. Like a bugs shell. Or a lobsters shell. in the case of a human, it'd have to be surgically implanted. I.E. they'd have to take a big chunk of skin off to replace with metal and other stuff to make your arms able to lift the metal arms and use them as if they were your own. Because... If they took his arms off, how else would he use them? he'd have no control over them. It'd be like ripping your arms off and gluing mannequin arms onto them. Just think about it lol.

Oohhhh okay I forgot lol. Your saying it is another skin layer like MK3-MKvsDC? And actually, he kan. The tubes are connected to his veins which go up to the brain. And I think they just kovered up his bones with that metal. So if it does rip off, he kan still feel it cause the bones are still there and it tubes kome off his veins.

Not exactly.
Look at those gear shaped structures that connect the arms to the body plus the metal blade bones on the back: if they are connected to the nervous system, they could lift the metal arms without needing a pre-existent structure like the bones inside the arms. I mean, work independently while connected to the nervous system, it makes sense.

But how much more work would that require? Those are just that.. tubes. It'd take a LOT of hardware to read brainwaves and the like, no?

I hope in the storyline his arms are really metal.

THAT IS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY ON MY 1ST POST! Plus, they are connected to his chest so it must be by the heart! Then what is inside of the metal?
And you made it sound more painful since it is on the nervous system.
Sorry dude, I really don't know the human body"/

Those gear shaped pieces have to be there so he can MOVE the arms no? I mean... If it were one solid metal piece he wouldn't be able to extend it.

Edit : Not only that, but look at the hands, they're like gloves. Theyre' obviously supposed to house fingers.

The hands have to remain relatively small and sensitive, otherwise he couldn't even hold his penis while taking a piss... :D

everything is fine as long as the giant footstomp fatality doesn't make the cut

LOLOL
as ridiculous and STUPID as it was, I'm kinda really curious as to what the hell it'd look like in current gen. Imagine a giant boot smashing scorpion and having blood and intestines spray everywhere like a bug. It'd be kinda cool.

You know, I'm surprised those things never short out. between RAIDEN and Rain ol' jax has got to get hit by lightening all the time.

LET'S AVOID USING HOMOSEXUAL TERMS FOR CHARACTER'S NAMES, THANKS
