Is it worth going back and doing Konquest again?

So I finished Konquest with relative ease, but in the end fell short of all the hidden relics (I think I have 55 or so). Do you gain anything of value by obtaining every relic? I read somewhere that you are rewarded with something "special" if you do finish having collected them all. I'm sure many of you here have completed the segment and found everything, so what's the deal?
 
You unlock everything int he krypt. Every alt costume, every level, every video and koncept art, etc.

The Konquest was pretty fun the 2nd time through for me. I only got 46 relics the first time through.
 
word......you unlock "everything" by getting all relics. I picked up 58 my first time through.......2 my second time through. I'm playing on my third now simply because I think it's a fun little game.
 
I only got 50 my first time. I wasn't looking for them and I was only going for 50 to get Blaze. Either way I love Konquest so much I went through it again for the fun of it. I'm on the 4th floor of Shinnok's Spire on my 3rd run right as I type.
 
I Got Up To 49 Of Them Then When I Beat Konquest. I Was Pissed Cause I Couldnt Go Back And Atleast Unlock Blaze I Fell One Short Of Unlocking Him HaHaHa Yeah I Suck. But Playing Konquest A Second Time Through Will Be Awesome...I Mean Hey Atleast In THIS Konquest Ya Dont Have To Be Shujinko. Oh And In Konquest Reiko Shows Up As A General For Shao Kahn. I Do Believe I Owe A Certain Person On Here A I Told You So.
 
No, I don't think you do. I was perfectly correct in saying that Reiko was a general for Shinnok. He is now a general for Kahn as you correctly stated and yes he is damned cool now.
 
I LOVE this Konquest, because it has a better story and better tasks. But the one and only thing I wish they kept from the other Konquest is the ability to freely roam. I liked to be able to just wander around and discover stuff, rather than be stuck on a linear track. But that's ok, it's still all good.

I'm playing through again right now, I'm having a tough time finding all the relics...it's like they just dont want to show up or something. I have 49 and I'm searching EVERY CORNER of EVERY ROOM. I'm looking EVERYWHERE. I'll get them if its the last thing I do!

I feel ya. I too scoured each room, or so I thought, in search of relics. I had so many that I assumed that I was yet to find the remaining five or so, and WHAMMO! I was at the end of Konquest, leaving me completely puzzled of what I had missed. I have to believe that I must've missed some from the early stages of the game before I realized I could smash through certain objects.

The question now remains, before re-entering Konquest, can I run through the levels again with all relics found and only those that remain, or do I need to restart Konquest all over again and re-find each relic in a new game? Is this Konquest like Deception's version in that when you go back everything is completed aside from areas you have missed, or do you need to go through all the shit all over again?

Another question: In the training sessions when you meet the holograms of Taven's parents in the Dojo, are you only rewarded w/ Koins for completion, or do they give you relics throughout? I only finished the very last training session because they were redundant and annoying, and I was amassing more than enough wealth in the regular mode to be rich enough to create my own badass later on. Maybe this is where I screwed up and missed out on the last few relics? Thoughts?
 
Relics stay throughout multiple playthroughs. The most commonly missed relics (I missed them) are the two in which you must set a campfire and torch aflame. There are no relics in the training missions but you do get costumes and such in the chests sometimes.

One of the mods put up an interactive Konquest map with all the relic locations and GameFAQs has a relic guide in the Armageddon FAQs listing.
 
i played konquest 3 times before i found everything first time i got 40 second time i had 52 and the third i realized i was an idiot and they wer all right in front of me most of em in the red dragon level
 
How pathetic am I... I am stuc kon my first attempt through Konquest at the Shao Khan statue fight. No matter what I do, I can't get the c*&^ to go into that red circle so those things at the side can blast him. I flame them so they are ready for him, but whatever I do, he keeps walking around the red circle and i end up dead.. Any tips anyone?

Do the time frezze thingy while hes in the circle.
