Is having rain In the game that Important?

that kinda makes any ones point about stryker being important in the mk story mute doesnt it?

I mean what did stryker do? what has he done? and his story or role is still a big ****ing nothing in the new game...

You're right. Stryker is possibly the least important character in games he was in. When MKA came out, he still had no idea why he fought in MKT.

Stryker now has a part in this story, however. Rain could have too, but it is harder as he stands as sort of an independent character at the moment. That's why I hope they mesh Rain's story into someone else's if Rain is DLC (and DLC have a story chapter or something)

I get kind of obsessive lol. The reason I want Rain is so we can maybe eventually add Chameleon and Khameleon so the game can have all of the characters from MK1-MKT(and then some such as Quan Chi).

I hate to ruin it for you but i *THINK* ed boon said those two won't be returning :/ not sure though

there`s alot of people wanting rain on twitter so im guessing he will be in mk9 but only dlc

But I Dont Use Him But Alot Of Others Do

I wish he makes the game. He is the only MKT character not to make it which is just weird in my opinion.

What I find interesting in the posts I read are remarks that he has no back story. I think that is kind of the point of wanting him. He has potential to add a great element to the story. All that is ever stated is he is an Edenian Prince who is a traitor to his realm.

I think that basic premise allows Rain a chance to get an in depth story and can add a new element to the story.

Like I said before, DLC characters can come at any point in time, so there is always hope for Rain at some point =)

Is having Rain in the game important? No, it's not. But if/when he's available for DLC, I'll definitely buy him just to complete the MKT roster.

The real question is, where is Motaro? Getting rid of MK3's sub-boss just because NRS are too lazy to animate him is stupid.

Currently Rain isnt important to the MK story, but as others said above, he can have an intense story. Noob and Ermac have a good story, so can Rain. Traitor to his own realm, a prince, and half god. Serves shao kahn. I can see him being a general in Kahns army or maybe get into a big feud with Liu Kang over Kitana. There is alot of things Rain can do.

I think they did that when they made him Taven's half-brother in MKA. lol. (Kidding)

I do keep forgetting he's a traitor. The way the game explains it is vague. Wasn't Tanya a traitor too? They could've put her in the game and had them team up. Or better yet, do it for the next game. That'd be epic.

lmao nice. seriously i wanted a video of him just walking in and being like "hey there, half god here. figured i'd let you know that just in case you were wondering"

Well, Ed Boon really didn't like him. People keep asking for him on Twitter. And he may make DLC. Kenshi's the best new character, in my oppinion, aside from Bo Rai Cho.

i'm not really a big fan of rain but it just seems a bit unfair to be the only guy left out. it would be cool to see him reimagined with some sick moves. well anyway since he's gonna be dlc no harm done.
