Injustice 2 Media and Discussion Thread!

If that teaser is anything to go by, Harley will have her Hyenas with her. Hoping it's more than aesthetic, they could make her gameplay so much more interesting.


Also, NRS, PLEASE add taunts to your games! Stance Switch is a useless button

As for taunts, if they go the MKX route, characters will taunt their opponents during combos and round-victories.

Also, the fact that Boon showed two pics of a hyena makes me think ... what if it's not Harley Quinn ... but the Hyena?

The characters already have idle animations. Which are completely useless since nobody will ever see them outside of practice mode. Just assign them to a button.


The rendered hyena Boon posted had a spiked collar on it.

Oh don't get me wrong - the Hyena *is* Harley's hyena in that pic, I don't debate that. It makes me wonder because so far, when Boon teased Harley, he would show the hammer, never the hyena pets.

I can understand that. Sometimes he's blatant, sometimes he's cryptic.

He was tweeting pictures of the moon to tease Reptile for MKX.
 
And Harley's face looks good. I can see some Margot Robbie there, which is nice.
But with Deadshot in it, I guess that means no Jason Todd/Red Hood, huh?
 
I don't give a crap about Harley, but I really like this incarnation of hers - Harley works best when she's more life-like, and less cartoon-like.

The character models look insane. I dare anyone to say Harley has a bad face.

Which makes me wonder if that Deadshot is from a different "Earth" from the Harley he's fighting. Could explain why she's movie Harley and he's comic Deadshot.

Also an unfortunate sidenote, it really does seem this game is being rushed out. They're definitely lining it up to ride movie popularity if these Suicide reveals are anything to go by. The animations don't look nearly as polished as MKX's gameplay reveal trailer, and I've counted several possibly recycled animations in Deadshot alone.
 
Hmm ... I find the visuals more impressive than those in MKX. And the animations are on an equal level. Maybe it's the lack of 60fps that gives you that impression? Anyways, I don't remember the gameplay reveal for MKX, I just compare Injustice 2 with the released product (MKX).

Though she does have some Margot Robbie features, she still has the same feel as Insurgency Harley, being more the post-Joker street punk clad in leather than the clown-dressed Joker sidekick. I prefer that as well, as I'm not really all that much into the whole clown-look for her.

As for Deadshot coming from the primary Earth seems like a qualified guess, considering his "New Harley" comment.
