In Depth Review with the Mortal Kombat Fight Stick (PDP)

Is it wrong to be in love with a piece of video game equipment? Because I think I just fell head over heels.

No I mean the girl said if you're serious about playin in this tourney pick yourself up a 360 stick. What does it matter what system you have if the stick is the same? Maybe she mean it because the tourney will be played on the 360 but if that's the case then I should be fine, right? Seeing as to how the tourney will be played exclusively on the stick I should have no problem.
 
Nice vid. Cant wait to get hold of mine. I plan to replace the Happ with an IL Eurostick, so I hope what they say is true about it being easy to modify.
 
Too bad they used cheap ass MDF for them.

I broke down and ordered a 360 TE from Walmart yesterday still. I need to order some IL parts.

She said that because PDP is selling the 360 stick on their site for $130 (MK not included).
 
Yeah, she worded it poorly but the impression I got was she meant "If you own a 360, and you don't have a stick ordered, you can get a stick from our website and get some practise in before the tournament". Cos I can't imagine there being any difference between the 360 and PS3 one (besides the circuit boards that let them work with their respective consoles).

I never thought I'd see that tool again. He used to work for IGN and was always in a lot of their videos. I haven't seen him in awhile, apparently he does this now.

That aside, the stick is WAY bigger than I thought (that or those people are really tiny). It looks fantastic.
 
The sticks are exactly the same other than one being for PS3 and the other being for the 360. If you can play the game on a PS3 stick you can play it on a 360 stick.

I'm in love with it so I know what you mean. Where did you pre order it from? I pre ordered from Walmart and am really hoping it gets here on the 19th since I selected same day delivery. Only 97 cents cant beat that

Walmart sometimes delivers preorders a day early.

I was talked into the TE since you could probably make the additional money back by selling all the goodies individually, but if you love it, it's worth the $. After seeing this, I'm pretty confident I won't be selling the fight stick. Looks pretty smooth...
 
I am kinda upset at amazon, and I hope they are wrong, but estimated delivery date of my TE is April 26-April 30! That is over a week late, I hope it is wrong! Anyone else pre-order at amazon and have something different?

I believe there was recently a thread started concerning this issue. Lots of people said they aren't scheduled to get their TE's from Amazon until a few days after the 19th.
