? You sure you didn't mistake him for someone else? I could've sworn he was using a pad throughout the whole time I played him.

First you say I'm a "big guy" then you say I use a stick? I think you're mistaking me for Noobe.

I'm the guy with the hat and green shirt on stream. Click on my profile on here to see a picture of me.

LMAO my bad then, i figured the pick of the two players matched which side of the screen there characters be on...didnt think about hte fact that its actually reversed (because im looking at them).

silly me

Just watched your top 8 match.. awesome come back man!!

Does anyone have a list of major tourneys or East Coast tournaments coming up over the summer? I've gone to the tourney's section but haven't found anything really

Man I'm so tired of hearing that. That's such an ignorant thing to say.

It's not ignorant to say honestly and I'll be more specific. From watching every MK major and all of Tom's streams I understand the Noob change to try and zone pressure Chris' aggressive reptile.

The Kung Lao change seemed desperate and against Tom's nature as he has a good Cage and likely knows Kabal and Kitana. But oh well I'm sure the pressure got to him, especially after the reset as well as Chris reading him.

Ill go against what I am saying even. In the end it didn't matter who Tom picked. Tom wasn't able in general to adapt and overcome. Chris had great execution and reading.

Good statement. It was what happened, indeed.

Great job Circus. As a fellow Kano player (in my main 3), I congratulate you on how far you got. I got to play you a few times online with my Sektor before. What do you think of the slower and more punishable up ball now? :p

Love it.

1. Now people will stop picking Kano just because his Upball

2. Now people will respect the Upball option less so they open themselves up for Kano

3. No more salty boo hoo'ing

Upball is a great tool for Kano but people really overestimate it so much. Top level players like Noobe, Justin Wong, and Chris G ALWAYS punished me hard if they blocked an upball. If you rely on it too much you're going to lose. He has so many other great tools that people just don't give Kano enough credit for.

My Kano gameplay and Kano playstyle in general will be completely unaffected by the nerf. I only use Upball when I KNOW it'll land.

Circus said something wise here ..... the key, the trick, is not abuse of Kano upball, in fact, use it as combo complement, and, as surprise factor when you feel that you will land it without block. People are scared of a well played Kano, and fear that Up Ball a lot, everytime Kano is hit and knocked down, they start to block waiting for a wake up Up Ball .....

Kano is a very good character, very dangerous, with very high chances to do well against anyone, and can give a very hard tough time to Kung Lao players ..... Hi choke is deadly, his knife throw, hard to dispute against in projectile wars, his X-Ray is one of the best if lands, so, Kano is a force rising in tournament level dispute.

Your matches really started me thinkin' about learning Kano. I haven't come across too many Kano's that haven't spammed Up Ball and seeing your Kano really made me realize the potential that I'd heard about from people. Any tips off-hand before I take him into the lab?

Vs anyone with a proper way to get around knives(teleport attacks, dive kicks ect.) , don't try to zone them out at all. Throw a few knives at good times to be tricky, but in those matchups its better to just rush down.

Vs people without a proper way of getting around knives learn how to properly zone without backing yourself into a corner. ONLY zoning is stupid even in these matchups though. If you do so you'll be super predictable and you'll end up giving up spacing too much and your opponent will control the pace of the battle. Know when to turn on your rushdown when need be.

B112 is super safe, Upball stops cross overs, Choke stops jump aways and is safe on block, Forward ball goes over low projectiles, and I think that's about all you need to know if you're just picking him up and actually want to take him seriously.

It's possible to connect a flying kick and an air ball at the same time with Kano ? Never saw someone doing this before ...........

after reading that i realized that my top 4 chars all have good ways of getting out of cross ups.

noob->upknee
csz->freeze counter
kano->upball
reptile->elbow dash

i need to engrain those into my mind when im online.

You mean a jump kick? Of course it's possible. You can also connect an air throw after a jump kick. He can also option select it.

really wish there was a designated site that lsited every single fighting game term and explained it, ive had to piece most together over time.

option select it?

Option select in general is like a mixup in a combo. So I start a combo and can Option Select from a list of moves so its not the samething everytime and predictable.
