Like a few others have said, Aliens vs. Predator.
I remember when I was a kid I heard the first rumors of this movie. Due to name rights, copyrights, and studio clashes it was post-poned and finally cancelled. I was ticked. I have always loved both the Alien and Predator films and I really used to love that arcade game. I also have some old comics featuring AvP as well as things like Aliens vs. Wildcats, Aliens vs. Judge Dredd, and so forth.
When I saw the previews for that recent AvP movie, I knew we were in for trouble.
Everything was wrong. The casting. The setting. The acting. The plot. Everything. Modern day Antarctica? Hah. A hidden temple? HO HO HO. Predators the master race? No thanks.
It should have been done simple: Take the Aliens setting:
You have a backwater human world - small population, mainly an industrial outpost or something. Humans lost contact with the colony - reason being Aliens had somehow found there way there and began to spawn. A group of Marines are sent to investigate - well equipped. All you do is throw a group of hunting predators into the mix and you have yourself a war. Aliens vs. Predators vs. Humans - the way it should be.
The plot would have been somewhat similar to the Aliens film but the movie itself would have been completely different. Besides, most peoples favorite film of the 4 is Aliens ... so I doubt throwing Predators into a similar situation would have been hard. Plus, the movie would follow similar themes of the video games, books, and comics.

If I could pick a movie to be remade, it'd have to be, "Batman and Robin."
That movie sucked monkey balls, for 3 reasons.
1-They weren't even trying to make the Dynamic Duo look like anything but a couple of Choco-Land residents.
2-Bane's vocabulary was much less limited in the comic book than in the movie.
3-The rest of the script just sucked.
That film was a piece of crap. Anyone could take a dump in a film can and label it, "Batman and Robin," and no one would know any better.
